Unmatched Adventures: Tales to Amaze – Cooperative Strategy Fighting Game for Family, Teens & Adults by Restoration Games

My 11 year old son LOVES the Unmatched series, but I found it was getting a bit repetitive after the 20th game. This cooperative game is a lot of fun, and you really get the feeling that you're teaming up against a big bad guy. I have only played one of the two scenarios but it's got great replay value because the different minions really change up the game.I've played other games where you're playing against an automatic player and this game's actions are easy to understand.Overall it's a nice alternative to the competitive version and I'd recommend it!

I’ll admit it—I was skeptical when my husband brought home Unmatched Adventures: Tales to Amaze. “Giant ants? Alien invaders? Really?” But one game in, I was hooked. The co-op gameplay is such a refreshing twist, and working together to outsmart those over-the-top villains made for a hilarious (and surprisingly intense) evening.Of course, I handled the strategy while he provided the comic relief with his awful robot impressions. The setup was a little fiddly, and we had to pause a couple of times to check the rules, but once we got going, it felt like we were starring in our own pulpy sci-fi adventure.I never thought battling bugs with him would make such a memorable date night, but here we are—saving the world one ridiculous villain at a time. Who needs dinner and a movie when you’ve got this?

This is an amazing evolution of the unmatched game system.

Such a fun, quick game. This one has an added co-op/solo option which made an already good game great.

This game got me into the unmatched system and play style. Now I own multiple expansions and characters to play with. This is the set that started it all for me. I'm a fan of cooperative games so this is a blast to go up against different cryptic monsters and the fact that it is double sided makes the replay-ability and game play hugely fun. Overall 10 out of 10.

Ok- this game was recommended to me from a friend. I almost threw it out the window on the first we tried to play. I wasn’t ready for a “thinking” game. Second time around, my kids and I figured it out and LOVED it. I had to read the instructions several times and really focus on it, but once I did, we caught in quickly. So much fun, just make sure you are in the right place to focus on a game before you start.
