Despite knowing the dimensions before purchasing I would rather have something larger. However, these are funcional and great value compared to name brand watch supplies. Packaging was great and the items arrived with no problem. I expect these to be durable and will contribute to my long life as I'm no longer getting drilled by my Wife's laser gaze for using her ceramic cookware.

I use a coffee filter with a just big enough hole in the center to let it slide to the base. It can be pre-cut to fit the outside edge as well. This paper should be of the unbleached kind, brown ones. They won't add the acid of bleach to your metals, screws, wheels...or your other parts, pieces. Bleach can cloud a non-glass lens, leaving a scar which can not be removed. Once the bleach is absorbed by the paper fibers when they are made, it will stay. Just a speck of moisture and they will jump to work. Bleach was one of the first consumer products listed as a poison by law, requiring new labels with warnings. These can have their bases turned upside down for a different usable space with a visually different look. I bought two. One for dirty parts, the other for clean ones. Even with the filter, you can see the difference between them. If that escapes you, try a small rubber band or colored pony tail holder on the top knob, of your choice. Depending on the size of watch you are going to work on, these are ample enough for most work. I am grateful to sorters and containers which actually do the job intended. As the chore of searching the rug or carpet where I am working, was eating more of my day. My cheapest tool is a box of long toothpicks. Tops are flat so I do not poke myself. They are always non-magnetized, will pick up that tiny amount of oil needed for each fitting and reach where my fingers dare not try to go. Since I will continue with the two as a working set, I will get a couple more as back-ups, before the tariffs stifle this value price. When you are organized while working, the level of work done improves, stress drops, enjoyment is gained. I use a HEPA Filtered vacuum, but most of the dust flying around is from the freeway traffics car tires. I moved here a few years before they put that bypass in, I just notice things like that. This is another factor for using a clear dome. You can dust the outside, the bench, table and then open up your new best friend and get to work. If you use separate shipping for these, without other heavy items in the same order, they should arrive ok. Yes it is worth the extra few bucks. I just picked up a few blouses, nice double work for soft padding. They do not come in their own little box, just some tissue paper.

Seems more for a small movement and not much for packaging as one of mine came scratched but otherwise they are fine and do the job.
