The house itself is lovely and cannot be faulted for the price. so far has weathered the terrific wind and rain we have enjoyed this spring/ summer. The packaging however was terrible. 2 sheets of newspaper and 1 small piece of bubble wrap which did not even completely surround the item, then into a none too robust cardboard box which was much too big! I guess it's a testimony to how well made the house is that only 1 small piece was broken during its travel from Thailand to UK. I glued the broken bit back on as considered the price and hassle involved in returning would bot be worth while. I cannot fault the actual spirit house at all, though not for anyone adverse to "bling".
