Makes great coffee, much better than the camping filter holder I used to use. The only 'issue' is that it can take a while for all of the hot water to extract through.. and by that time my coffee is no longer hot.

My husband is a coffee drinker; I am not. So making a full pot is a waste at our house. My husband switched to instant which was tolerable but not pleasurable. This device has allowed him to have a 16 oz. cup of delicious coffee every morning by simply pouring 1 scoop of his favorite blend into the sieve and pour 16 oz of boiling water over the grounds. We purchased a second Kitclan to give one to our son for Christmas.

Shortly after writing a more positive review for this product, this coffee dripper became totally unusable. Coffee does not drip through the filter hardly at all. I am revising my original thoughtsto help keep others from wasting money!

My fancy brewer electronics broke down and thought about trying something new. I had French press before, but this one is so easy. And you don't see any coffee ground left in your cup. Your coffee tastes better with a sense of being green. It's always a fresh cup instead of staled pot sitting on the heater.Why didn't they invent the dipper before those bulky maker?

Clogged rather quickly and never really worked well again after that.

Works beautifully. It is very convenient not to have to use a paper filter. I have also used it in a pinch to strain cork out of wine.

A super slow messy way to make coffee if there are no better options

Macht was es soll. Wenn man egal wieviel Kaffeepulver rein gibt, schmeckt es meiner Meinung nach am besten, wenn man das kochende Wasser bis zur Spitze des Ansatzes langsam drüber giesst. Perfekt für michDas abwaschen ist easy. Einfach den Ansatz mit einem küchenpapier rauspopeln und den rest unter heissem wasser wegspülen. Fertig.Man spart an den Filtern und es ist kochendes wasser. Nicht wie bei der maschine die das wasser nur erhitzt und das gelagerte Kalk im gerät mit in den Kaffee gibt. Man schmeckt echt einen unterschied.Würde es jedem empfehlen der wie ich nicht der freund von filtermaschinen ist.

Eigentlich eine gute Sache so ein abwaschbarer Filter. Nachteile entstehen aber durch das Material: Zum einen findet eine größere Wärmeabgabe statt, so dass der Kaffee kühler ist.Zum anderen verflüchtigen oder reagieren tatsächlich mehr der feinen Kaffeeöhle an der Metalloberfläche.Subjektiv schmeckt der Kaffee durch einen hochwertigen Papierfilter einfach noch feiner und besser.Davon abgesehen ist dieser Filter gut verarbeitet und für Reisen zum Beispiel eine gute Lösung.

….kann allerdings nicht ohne Spülmaschine benutzt werden, da der Filter sich nach 1-2 Brühvorgängen dichtsetzt. Auch gröbere Mischungen helfen da nicht, und das mitgelieferte Minipinselchen ist etwas fürs Puppenhaus, hilft aber auch nicht weiter.Wer über keine Spülmaschine verfügt, dürfte wenig Freud am dem Filter haben - schon nach kurzer Zeit lässt er keinen Kaffee mehr durch.Schade, denn sonst wirkt der Filter sehr wertig... :-(

Ich wollte diesen Filter für den kleinen Kaffee zwischendurch für eine Person haben, mit dieser einen Tasse am Tag jedoch keinen überflüssigen Müll produzieren. Das Teil funktioniert wunderbar, nachdem ich mit ein bisschen probieren die richtige Kaffeemenge für mich raus hatte. Schnell, easy zu reinigen, umweltfreundlich - ich kann's nur empfehlen.
