Impressive Diesel Heater for My Garage!
I recently installed the VEVOR Diesel Heater in my garage, and it’s been a total game-changer! The installation was straightforward, and once I had it set up, the performance was incredible. It heats up the space quickly, even on the coldest days, making it much more comfortable to work in during the winter months. The heater runs smoothly, and I love how efficient it is. Despite using diesel, it doesn’t consume a lot of fuel, which has helped keep costs down. It’s also relatively quiet compared to other space heaters I’ve used in the past, so it doesn’t create a distracting noise while I’m working. The quality of the materials is solid, and the system feels built to last. The remote control is a nice touch, allowing me to adjust the temperature easily without having to get up.Overall, I’m really happy with this diesel heater. It’s made my garage a lot more usable in colder weather, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient, reliable heating solution.

Crack the fuel cap or the fuel pump will collapse the fuel tank.
I love this unit. Simple and very effective. I didn't think the app and bluetooth was going to be any use, but in fact I really like it. The app isn't intuitive, but still provides good information and control. The unit starts up quickly and is extremely efficient. We use this to overwinter in an RV and keep our pipes intact and floors warm by heating underneath our RV skirt. We use 1/2 - 3/4 gal of Diesel/night. The electronic display can detach to fit into the area you're heating and it contains the thermostat. I wish the cord for the control was longer, as long as the heater vent would be great. My only tip to users would be to crack open the fuel cap to relieve pressure and not collapse the fuel tank from the suction of the fuel pump.I am going to purchase another unit to have a backup.Edit: The unit is still heating well. I purchased a 12 gallon fuel tank and a length of fuel hose. I removed the stock fuel tank and attached the external fuel tank with the 3’ long fuel line after bleeding out the air. Tightened hose clamps and checked for leaks. Unit runs for a week without refueling and I’m able to stuff the unit completely under the rig. The external fuel tank was purchased from USplastics.com and is the CORRECT type of plastic for diesel. This makes it very convenient to refuel without pulling my RV skirt apart.

Zero Customer Service, No More Vevor
This would be 5 stars if it worked as designed, and 4 if I could get helpful and productive customer service. But since I cant get any resolution to my problem, it's 1 star, zero if that was an optionThis is the second Vevor product I have purchased, and I've had problems with both, and the customer service is completely and utterly worthless. The heater works, in that it does heat, actually very well for the fuel consumption. Not sure where others are getting so many error codes. I've only gotten 2, one when it ran out of fuel, and the other when I put a duct extension on, and it didn't like that the outlet temp got too hot - and shut down safely, as engineered. If you want to extend the heat outlet, transition from 3" to 4" after the initial connection to the heater, or use a smooth, 100% metal, 3" duct.My primary issue is the heater won't shut down when it reaches setpoint. It will slow down, but not stop heating. I have read others say they had a similar issue, and after much unproductive back-and-forth with Vevor, have gotten new control boards. Not sure if that fixed the issue or not.I have been texting/messaging back and forth with VEVOR for well over a month, sent in a nearly 2-minute video clearly showing the problem. They finally agreed to send a new display (sort of), I asked if that contained the PID (or whatever system they use to manage calls for heat and stop heat), and I then got a follow-up message saying the previous email was wrong and the operation was normal. It's not. No reason to have a thermostat if it just keeps heating, even if it's low heat output. These heaters are intended for small spaces, and are supposed to be automatically controlled when equipped with a thermostat. This particular heater does not do that.I am very happy with the heat and fuel usage. For others that have complained about the noise, smoke, the endless errors, they're either shilled reviews, or they've tried to modify it, not followed instructions, or used bad/wrong fuel. These are basic systems, and they generally all work pretty well (I believe there's only one or two actual manufacturers of the primary burner. They are put in different color/size cases, and they might have a slightly different controller with additional features, but the remainder of it is identical). You can hear the fan and the pump, but that's expected in a unit that produces this much heat and doesn't need an HVAC professional to install it. It does need a decent power supply (battery or transformer), but mostly for startup. Once it's running, it sips fuel and power. There is wisp of diesel smoke out of the exhaust at startup, maybe 10 seconds (you MUST vent to outside the space your heating), and then it's pretty odor free. For context, this heater is in an off-grid cabin, with a 12v power source running off 110v (solar), at an altitude of 7,200 ft. In general it works great if I need quick heat at the press of a button. The customer service has been the worst, though, as in lots of dodging, and mostly a lot of misunderstanding. I will now readily pay more for a product if I know I'll get help when I need it. The Chinese to English translation is bad enough, but the lack of understanding is overwhelming. No more Vevor products, for me.

Item came damaged but still worked
I’ve read all the reviews and comments and gripes about these diesel heaters. This one came with a damaged case and (Amazon took care of that for me).It sat for awhile because I’m too picky or maybe I’ve got OCD because I didn’t like it due to the cosmetic issues. Plus it was summer time. However, using it was easy, after listening to many others saying to open it up and make sure everything is connected properly and tight. Did that, filled it with fuel, and it fired up. We used it the first time this thanksgiving. It really did keep the RTT warm and comfortable in 11° temps. Now, it is a tent and it is not insulated, we also didn’t use insulated ducting to get the heat into the tent. So, we lost quite a bit through the aluminized flexible ducts 8’ length which is needed to get it in the RTT. That being said…. We were very comfortable in the tent. The heat output was enough to maintain the tent from 7pm til 7:30 am at roughly 60° running on high. This model is the all in one portable. So, not mounted. It did the job. So much so, that I decided to purchase another one, same but short with the fuel tank to the side. Good value and although this review is from a single outing the heater was worth it for us.
