Delicious and Satisfying Taste : Sweet and Savory
I was introduced to this uniquely flavorful product half a century ago, by one of my coworkers, when she shared her lunch with me. I asked her about what I had just enjoyed and she explained to me how to prepare it. You put it in a pan on low level, after you slow boil about an inch of water, pop in the sausage. Cover them until water is partly evaporated, so the pork can steam them through, then turn them over cover, and allow the remainder of the water to evaporate. Carefully watch and turn sausages over until they brown properly. Careful not to over or under cook the sausage, so they do not dry out and lose their juices altogether. I did not need her to explain the indescribable, rich flavor. These sausages are uniquely delicious, and it was a wonderful memory I have of her that I return to when I purchase them. When I have these sausages, as I do, from time to time, I am reminded of a long ago friend. Reminded of her generosity, and the delicious gift she shared with me that day. "Chinese sausage," are sometimes difficult to find, outside of ethnic communities where Asian products such as these are available. I had to order online at Amazon, because they are not available where I live. Wherever you live, for those who want to add an exciting, new flavor to their diet, adventurous people out there like you. You can thank me later, because with white rice, Basmati, or other carb of your choice, and vegetable of your choosing, these sweet tasting, pork fat, duck liver, and oyster sauce containing sausages will amaze and delight you and your guests. Simple, and simply exotic, scrumptious and packed with unusual flavor for newcomers, I suggest you get to know the full range of pork, beef, chicken, duck liver, "Han Chinese sausages." You and your taste buds will be glad you did. Great with plain white rice, or jasmine rice, if you prefer, try them and see for yourself, what you have been missing.

Tastes fabulous
I was really miss Chinese Sausage and Bok Choy. This really hit the spot, a little steamed rice and soy sauce and I was in heaven. Will buy again.

I bought this for a specific recipe, and it was excellent. Good quality sausage and the spices were on point. It may take a while to go through this quantity, but when I need more I'll definitely come back to these guys.

these cook up and taste very strange ?
Unsure what happened, have ordered before and they were ok. this order, something not right, idk if they were old?, ... they did not steam up right, and they are super hard, not juicy at all, very thin. almost like jerky and they have a strange taste as well. I was raised on these, and so now have my own grown kids and we all have never had them like this before. will try again, simply because our ranch is very rural now and this is an easy way for us to get this product, but hopefully we get good food this next time. this was very unsatisfactory and strange. :( ps: going to open the 3rd pack to see if it also is as bad as the 1st. two pks. will update on the new order as well.

Authentic & delicious!
I first tried this type of sausage in college when my roommate would add it to the rice in our rice cooker! Now, years later, my family is enjoying the unique flavor of this sausage. We have it on rice, but also just sautéed up on its own or with eggs. So tasty!
