CNC Machined Aluminium Precision Poly Dice by DnDice | Legendary Blue & Gold Dragon, Tekthyrios

I must confess that I purchased these dice not through Amazon.co.uk, but through DnDice's website directly. Also, the set I purchased was a variant of the Legendary Machined Aluminium Nuvureem (anodised blue and purple) set, which isn't currently (29 May 2018) available on Amazon. Now that I've completely discredited myself, I shall continue on with my review.As a collector of dice, I found it exceptionally hard to get hold of precision machined aluminium dice in the United Kingdom. Sure, you could import them from the States, but at around £100 before international postage is applied (and please bear in mind that the United States postal service is not kind to its exporters...), you could expect to be hammered hard on the import taxes...... And then I found D&Dice, and discovered their Legendary Machined Aluminium line of dice.These dice are beautiful, with very vibrant colours, sharp and precise edges, and a satisfying weight to them. I've tested them a fair bit now, and they would seem to be true-rolling (or as close to as I've ever witnessed), which is fantastic given the colossal let-down that GameScience's dice were (but that's another story...).Packaged in their own attractive D&Dice tin, these are a dice collector's dream come true, and would make a fantastic gift for the geek in your life (or even yourself, if you want some aesthetically pleasing and accurate dice that roll very, very nicely).The icing on the cake for me, however, was the customer service I received from D&Dice - Grady is by far the most committed person to customer satisfaction that I have ever met, and you can buy from him safe in the knowledge that you will without a doubt come away from the experience all the happier for it (unless you're one of those people that are never happy, in which case your odds are still probably pretty good). Compare that to The Dice Shop Online, who will never accept fault, charge their customer for returns even when it's a faulty item, and will outright ignore you if they don't like what you're saying.All in all, perfect dice from a perfect dice company. I cannot wait to see what else they have in the pipeline (I hear rumours of semiprecious gemstone dice...).
