Arrived really quick with in 2 days. Our Grandson loved is new bed with is memory foam mattress well made storage is good and easy to put together

I decided to upgrade my 9 year old sons bedroom. This bed is brilliant!! I am no DIY genius but the instructions were faultless. With some help from my 23 old daughter, we unpacked all 4 boxes (need 2 people to lift) and found the instructions in box 4/4. We built this in quite a small room. Reccomend 2 to build. Took an hour to unpack boxes. Then about 3 hours to build the bed. I then completed the bookcase, chest of drawers and desk by myself the next day. Probably 3-4 hours. Really enjoyed building it and it really looks good. My 9 year old loves it! I wanted to set up his console and tv in his room (previously on my breakfast bar). My daughter suggested we use the bookshelf for this and it works perfectly. He now has his own entertainment station. Due to lack of space, he wouldn't have had access to it under the bed. The desk is on wheels so smoothly rolls in and out. The chest of drawers and bookcase have fixed feet so stay in place. Quick delivery! Brilliant instructions and amazing bed for my 9 year old boy!!Just 1 thing to watch for........... once the bed was built my son spotted the black stickers covering the screws (smooth finish) he thought they needed to be peeled off. He did this while my back was turned. I discovered when I noticed the sticker had pulled away the black coating on the bed. I have been able to hide it (with black stickers). Just so it doesn't happen to anyone else.

My Son-In-Law put this together himself, it took a while but he got there, it looks lovely in my 5 year old Granddaughter's bedroom, she is very happy with it and has said it is very comfortable. She loves that there is a part where she can hide or sit reading, the desk has not been put together yet (hence the gap to play) so that may end up in a different part of the room. Two children could sleep in it comfortably top to tail as it is a big bed.I would recommend it as it is very functional and good quality.Thank you Lizzy for your help.

The bed was came early. Took me 2.5hours to 3 hours to build the bed on my own (pre planning since there is a lot that comes with it) it’s solid also the instructions are thankfully very detailed. It then took an hour at most to build the desk and will be finished the bookshelf and drawers by the end of the day when I get a minute. Over all I will be back to this store for not just a bed for myself but the rest of my kids

Be prepared for multiple boxes to unpack for this with loads of styrene pieces as well.Overall it was relatively easy to put together but you definitely need two people when assembling the bed frame. For the most part it was ok however a problem I encountered on putting it together was some of the predrilled holes for the dowels are not deep enough and a consequence of this is when you tighten the torque nuts onto the metal posts it can cause the dowel to pop the wrap on the board on the other side.I ended up having to cut 4mm off each of the dowels to make sure I didn't do this again.Overall it does look nice but the issues I have found with it so far have been there is only bracing on one side of the bed which does make it feel wobbly at times. I have had to buy and fit an additional cross-brace to alleviate this issue. For a bed in excess of £500 I wouldn't expect to have to do this.Similarly there is only backing board for the chest of drawers and not the cube shelves which means I am constantly having to ferret stuff back out from under the bed when it gets pushed through.All in all whilst it does look nice I don't think the quality lives up to the price tag. Given the choice I wouldn't buy this again.

Having purchased, built and repaired my fair share of kids beds, this mid sleeper stands as one of the best value for money.The unit is solid and employs a few extra pieces to aid stability that some other beds don't bother with. The pieces feel of a good quality and most pre-drilled holes are where they should be to create neat joints. The frame for the mattress itself has hardwood slats and sits on a metal frame, not a wooden one.The instructions are well laid out and clear to follow and the various bags of screws etc are all properly labelled. If you leave box 3 of 4 unopened til last you will be able to assemble the bed, bookcase and frame for the chest of drawers. Box 3 contains only the desk and draws to fit the aforementioned frame. It will take a few hours to assemble but for the kit you get, that is not too bad.The pocket sprung mattress also seems to be of good quality and our son says it is very comfortable and he is the one that needs to be pleased here!Overall a great value for money bed, easy to assemble and seems built to last. Very happy.

My little boy loves his new bed, this bed does state putting it together is a 2 man job but as I’m a single mum I managed to assemble it alone (thanks to power tools).... the only thing I struggled with is the castors for the pull out desk it was a bit of a nightmare trying to get the screw to attach to the nut through the bracket as it’s steel, I had to use a hammer to make it bend.The instructions are thoroughly, all pieces were there, everything arrived as it should, open the 4 boxes in number order and it should follow the steps of the instructions.I did contact the seller as it says frame only but that does include the bookcase, drawers and desk.Delivery was quick and definitely worth the money and I would purchase from the seller again.
