Stowabike 26" MTB V2 Folding Dual Suspension 18 Speed Gears Mountain Bike White (Certified Refurbished)

I bought this bike after attempting to travel with my non folding hybrid bike. It was a huge pain needing to disassemble the whole bike, bulky as heck at the airport and getting into the rental car etc.I loved the foldable design and figured this bike was cheap enough I could upgrade components if needed.It assembled easily taking about 45 min. The wheels were not straight but I was able to get them to run true using a spoke wrench in a set of bike tools I bought for cheap. I took it for it's first ride and it rides how I would expect. Right side shifter seems to shift hard when shifting down but I'm sure I can get it to shift better with a little more adjustment. It does have an overall cheaper feel than my other bike but for the 6-7 trips I go on a year it will be great.I don't think I would recommend it for everyday riding. I ride 40 miles per day to/from work and I'm not entirely confident it would hold up to that kind of use. For a backup bike and light use I think it will do great.

Purchased two of these bikes from this seller. The customer service is excellent! Responsive and friendly. We have three of these bikes now. Our family uses these bikes for riding trails on the weekends and while we camp. The bike itself is a little heavier than some other bikes, but this is not a deal breaker. Folding it is not the easiest, but becomes easier as we get used to folding it. Our family find these bikes to be sturdy, portable, easy to use and fun to ride. For reference we have two adults, a 14 and a 12 year old. The twelve year old loves this bike. The refurbished bike we received did not come with a bell or reflector light for the handle bars, however, this is not a deal breaker for us. Price was perfect!

Decent frame, Hardware is not the best. I use it for simple commuting to nearby stores. Past that I would highly recommend upgrading the hardware, Shifting mechanism will give you a lot of problems even with proper adjustments.

I watched a dozen of YoutTube videos trying to understand how to fix the speed transmission system, no luck. It comes assembled, and you can ride it, but you can't really swap between the speeds, or bike chain falls and jams. So you need to tweak the mechanism first. You can buy their services here on Amazon for 80$, no way! I called a few other places and they all were around 50$, which is like half of the bike price itself. If you're not a great technician, beware!

I like this bike considering the reviews. I had to remove alot of things to untangle. Cables were all twisted when arrived. Re did it and then had to redo brakes. I had non experience before So it took time. Little squeaking but manageable. I did buy the refurb version to safe $ that's why I guess. But happy. You wont be riding this down a canyon but for here and there it's fine

Frame is heavy but well built. Componets are low quality only rear derailleur is shimono even though it says on over it shimono. Still was a good price.

I purchased two of these. On one of the bikes, the chain will not stay on track, the other, the pedal and chain cover popped off within 4 feet of attempting to ride. Assembly wasn't too bad but directions could have been more clear. Folding is fairly simple but there doesn't seem to be a way to make the bike balance after folding.
