The book that was included was very informative and helpful.

Contains everything needed to start sprouting along with a book of great info (which was far more thorough than I expected) and a variety of seeds to begin immediately. The book was a nice surprise, I expected a pamphlet with basics and lots of ad for their company, but it was a novella of info on many types of sproutable seeds in addition to what was in the pack along with timetables for germination time and a time window for best harvest. The book to me was worth 1/2 the price alone. Have not sprouted anything yet, but seeds appear well sealed and labeled. Came with a sprout lid for a Mason jar which I will use with my current sprouter.

I love it but wish the packages had more seeds

The book makes all the difference!! I’ve learned a great deal and use it every day to review the needs of the various sprouts I have attempted so far.The seed packets have enough seeds to teach the new sprout gardener about many different seed options (and allow for do-overs if you make a mistake) and are all of the “easy” variety.The drain lid, however, is not very effective. If the jar is left standing on the lid to allow drainage, the holes are largely blocked and the water does not easily escape. I found a different one that has pegs to keep the jar elevated and an inverted filling section which dramatically reduces slashing and mess when rinsing through the lid.However, the lid not being usable does not take anything away from the quality of the seeds or the fantastic book, so five stars are deserved!

Excellent kit with a great variety and very easy to grow.
