My husband uses this powder for chafing. It works great for that. It also helps to sooth minor skin Irritation. When my niece had an allergic reaction to jelly fish larva it helped to stop the burning sensation.

Caldesene is the best body powder I've ever used, and I have used only this since first trying it years ago. I prefer it over baby powder, because it is medicated and because the scent is similar but milder. Also, it is very pale pink, not white. With baby powder, if you get it on your clothes or anywhere you don't want it, the white really shows up. For some reason, this is easy to brush off and not so likely to spill everywhere in the first place. If you sue body powder, you should definitely give Caldesene a try.

Hard to find in stores, which often offer baby powder with cornstarch, effective for many Elderly adults with irritating rashes. Caldesene medicated with zinc oxide gets the job done.
