I love this plate set. Doesn't chip, doesn't scratch and were pretty rough on our dishes. I wanna buy the pasta bowls too. We wanted 8 plates and bowls so I bought 2 of the cheapest set with 4 each so we would get 8.

I purchased two sets of the Famiware Moonlight plates, and within just a week of normal use, noticeable scratches began to appear. At this point, all the plates are heavily scratched, and it looks like the paint or finish is starting to peel off. I am concerned this may pose a health or safety risk, and I no longer feel comfortable using them.

My family is using these everyday for over a month and are holding up great. They're always tossed in the dishwasher with sanitary settings and have suffered no chips or cracks. Really strong compared to most economy sets and are heavier than most other brands. These sets are not perfectly matching due to the manufacturing processused so you'll find diameter and eccentricity to wander with each plate. They give you the impression of being hand made plates and I like that style myself.Great value to cost ratio.
