Decent but flawed and dishonest
I own about a half-dozen of these. When I saw that there was some color (background only, not your choice) and the $14 price (with tax), I thought I'd give it a try. It works as these LCD writing tablets/ boogie boards all do. BUT:1. The ad is deceptive. There is NO lock to prevent erasure. I will be complaining to Amazon.2. There are absolutely no USEFUL instructions anywhere - e.g., for the claimed lock. Just generic stuff on packaging.3. One of the two disk magnets refuses to stay in its disk area in back - an annoyance caused by being pulled away.4. The "pen" has no place to attach to the tablet, so you are left to use a bag (such as packing bag included).5. As another reviewer noted, it looks kind of dim, compared to other such tablets.6. A diagram shows "strap" but there is no strap - just a hole through which I guess you run a piece of thread?7. Like so much other junky Chinese merchandise, you have to unscrew a compartment to get at the battery.It is worth maybe 2.5 stars, but I'm rounding down to counteract the undeserved 4-star and 5-star reviews.Right now, the only thing keeping me from returning it is figuring that maybe my time (to pack this up, send it out, etc.) is more valuable than getting back a bit under $14.

Not what I expected
It's ok for the price, but it does not have an erase-lock button! It's not as they describe, and for that reason, I didn't give this tablet a better rating. The ink shows up faint as well. The pros: It's lightweight, comes with a sleeve cover, and they give you an extra pen.

So much better then paper
I love this device. I use it to run dungeon and dragons games as a stat tracker and initiative recorder. It's so much better then using paper index cards that then have to be thrown away. The screen clears instantly and can be reused multiple times.

I bought 38 pieces of this product, but after less than 2 months, half of them stopped working (tried to replace the battery but still doesn't work).
