As an avid chopstick user, the chopsticks are a bit lightweight for my liking. Also the fork works well, but it’s weird that it only has 3 tongs. When I first received these out of the bag I found it had a slight chemical smell. I was worried it was from the varnish on the utensils, but it was actually the bag. The package came with a very nice special care instructions card on how to clean the utensils, but nothing about the bag. I contacted the seller and they quickly responded telling me to either put it through the wash or let them sit in the sunlight for about 15 minutes. I just let it air dry on my counter for a few minutes and it worked like a charm.Overall the utensils are great. I bring them to work with me to avoid using plastic ❤️ but because of the unpleasant smell of the bag I am giving four stars. I would give 4.5 stars because of customer service, but amazon wont allow me.

HIGH QUALITY 5 STARS
This is an in-depth review, so bear with me.WOOD QUALITY: very natural looking, has a varnish which I asked the seller about. It is a FDA approved wood oil. It makes it so the wood doesn’t splinter. Overall it seems very sturdy and high quality.SIZE: I didn’t take a ruler to it, but it’s comparable to the silverware I have in my house. Fits comfortably in my hand.PACKAGING: Excellent! Packaging came in a nice plastic bag. Utensils were already inside the carrying case. It came with a little post card with special care instructions on how to clean and get the most life out of the utensils. Brownie points from me!CARRYING CASE: feels durable, like a canvas tote bag. It does have a slight chemical smell, but it goes away like a previous reviewer said - once you air it out. Some of the stitching is uneven, but I love the size. The utensils fit easily and snugly and there are 3 separate compartments which is not clearly pictured in the photos. Fits perfect in my bag and its handheld.CHOPSTICKS: I don’t use chopsticks all that often, but now I have an excuse to get sushi more often. The chopsticks are shorty chopsticks, which I really enjoy.SPOON: I’ve purchased several wooden spoons on amazon most are either really flat and can’t hold any liquid, or its so flimsy that I feel like I’m the hulk when picking it up. This one feels very solid and can actually hold liquid! I can eat soup, cereal, yogurt with this thing. I can scoop out avocados with ease, haven’t tried it with ice cream though. It might hold up, but I’m not going to be the guinea pig. It’s not a full tablespoon, but it’s the best one I’ve found so far.FORK: The fork is my favorite! Like I said before I’ve purchased many others on amazon including To-Go Ware. Although their case is more compact, in regards to the utensils especially the Fork, this one takes the cake. Same handle design as the spoon which I love. No obnoxious logo. And most important the fork tines are actually sharp. I’m not used to a fork with 3 tines, but no complaints from me because it works well. I eat all my salads, grilled chicken, pasta, fruit everything! I absolutely love this thing. If you’re going to buy for one reason. It’s either the bag or the fork.VALUE: Worth the price. This has quality and luxury written all over it. No other wooden cutlery I’ve bought can match the quality of this one. I don’t see myself needing another one for a long time, but if I do I will purchase these one again. I’m actually going to purchase a few more as gifts.IF THIS WAS HELPFUL, PLEASE UPVOTE IT SO EVERYONE CAN SEE IT

I love the idea, hard to clean!
I LOVE the bamboo cutlery but it’s definitely a bit difficult to get really really clean. I got them for work setting so I didn’t use a plastic silverware everyday at lunch.

Already high expectations blown away- new NUMU fan
These travel utensils are perfect and convenient~ They're super lightweight, easy to clean and as an added, they're super cute.I love the aesthetic of the wood and the kind of diamond shape the spoon and fork have towards the end of the handle. It makes them noticeably more comfortable to hold, I didn't realize how uncomfortable my stainless steel utensils I used to carry around were until I started using these.I was a bit worried about the fork having 3 prongs, but there was no difference when I started using them! It wasn't awkward or difficult. Even though they're wood and a bit bulkier, I had no problems cutting some foods with the fork turned to the side.I was also pleasantly surprised when I left my fork stuck in an apple slice for a few hours and there was no darkening or discoloration of the wood when I took it out. Sometimes with wood utensils, they easily get tarnished and dirty, especially when they have been sitting in something for a while but the finishing on these utensils are nice and durable. The pouch it comes in is also designed really well- I like that each utensil has a compartment so that they aren't bumping into each other which can build up unnecessary wear.Lastly, I love that there are chopsticks! It saves my life whenever I'm eating sushi, or Korean food:)I would love if in the future there was also a knife added to the set! Not sure how a wooden knife would work but if a solution could be made, that would be awesome!

Not as portable as expected
I was looking for a travel set of utensils that would fit nicely in a pouch, be usable in everyday situations (i.e. no sporks, flat spoons, or giant forks that wouldn't pick up food), and were well made. Based on the great reviews, I selected this set. I was disappointed to see:1. the utensils are all larger than average (I've included a picture of the utensils alongside my household silverware spoon for size reference) and the tines on the fork aren't uniform. The tines on the fork are also weirdly blackened.2. the chopsticks are longer than the pouch so they a) don't fit securely in the pouch for travel, and b) the tips are always sticking out and touching whatever else I have in my purse (as a toddler boy mom this could be ANYTHING).3. the pouch has all sorts of extra spaces in the band and doesn't really roll up neatly. Although I don't fully understand why I'd need a carabiner on my utensil pouch, I do appreciate the snap closure.4. lastly, as others have mentioned, I was shocked at the amount of plastic these were wrapped in. For something that is supposed to help cut down on single-use plastics this was overkill.I'll be sending these back and continuing my search for utensils to partner with my final straw.
