In some areas, peat moss can be difficult, if not impossible, to find. Where I live, bales of compressed peat moss are completely unavailable and what is available (even at proper garden centers) are very small and very overpriced sacks of uncompressed peat moss. Or the Miracle-Gro mixed peat moss which is unusable if you maintain an organic garden. This bale is compressed peat moss, equivalent to almost 8 cubic feet of uncompressed peat moss, and even with the shipping and handling price, this is far cheaper per cubic foot than peat moss that I can purchase locally.

Excellent seed starter. I shopped around and found this to be the best price per square foot. Shipped quickly, too.
