We own a sign company and constantly are gluing acrylic, this is the only brand we buy because it works and it is the best.

Excellent product, but don't forget to buy the 705 activator!

Advertised as medium thickness, but this is thicker than medium, as I use it. Doesn’t run, makes great void filler when mixed with baking soda. Sets really quick when used with activator spray, sets really slow when used straight.

Dries fast. Easy to use. Super strong. Only drawback is the tip clogs and glue dries on the tip.

Price was better than most for the amount I ordered. Liked the multiple bottles which will keep it fresh longer.

We surprise by the size of it. It used to be much smaller. It glues everything hard as a rock.

GOOD TO WORK WITH

I'm an avid DIYer and woodworker. I use lots of CA glue. I learned long ago not to use the runny stuff that comes in a tiny squeeze tube. This Akfix brand has a nice medium viscosity, almost like a thin gel. It's just thick enough to stay in place and not make a mess, but thin enough to dispense easily from the plastic container. It can be used to fill small voids, which is near-impossible with the cheap runny stuff. I've used it on 4 or 5 projects over the last 2 weeks, one of which is shown in the photos. It bonds very fast and strong. I've used it on a variety of materials including metal, plastic, and wood. It responds well to spray accelerants. Most CA glue itself is basically the same. They do come in different viscosities. But the real test for a brand is how long it lasts in the dispensing bottle before it solidifies. I've had some that last a year, and others that only last a few weeks. This one has a snap-on cap, which in my experience lets in too much air. I prefer the screw-on caps, which just seem to seal better. Also, every time I use it, I have to unclog the nozzle with a safety pin or something similar. This happens with other brands but usually not every time. So far, it's held up fine. I'm keeping it in the fridge in the garage with black electrical tape where the cap snaps into place. I'll update the review if it solidifies too quickly. Overall, I'm very happy with this CA glue. Nice gel-like viscosity. Easy to use. Bonds fast and strong. Price-point is pretty good for a 3-pack. I just wish the cap was the screw-on type instead of snap-on.
