I hate microwaving food in plastic takeaway containers, so I bought this product as a solution to my problems. It is a great size - fits enough food for one person for lunch at work (in my opinion) and I've had stews, curries, rice and soup in this glass container. No leakage on the soup. The white rubber seal can be removed to be washed. The seal has not held any stains, but I have rinsed and washed it immediately after a curry/stew or any other oily substance. It seems to be really sturdy as well. I've flung my bag onto the floor with this container at the bottom of said bag, having forgotten it was in there, and it did not get damaged at all and my lunch still intact. I've made the same mistake with other glass containers and they did not withstand the impact like this one has. I have not tested this product in an oven before therefore cannot comment on its ability to perform in that environment but should I need to, I would not doubt the quality of this glass container. Buy this and stop wasting your time on warping plastic takeaway containers that you can never find the lid for and get stained easily.

Very nice quality, however a bit heavy to carry around.

Perfect size for carrying a small/medium but sufficient amount of meal for lunch at work. Keeps the food with its original flavor, easy to wash, beautiful format, seals well. I bought a piece to try on, as I loved it, I bought four more because I cook on my day off to take a healthy lunch to work for the rest of the week and leave it in the freezer. The night before I take out of the freezer and put only one meal of my choice into the fridge for the next day. I don't mind that it's a little heavier than a plastic tupperware, because glass is healthier than plastic when heating food in the microwave. Highly recommended.

I have bought several packs of these. The lids fit well, no leakage and easy to stack in the freezer. Washed constantly in the dishwasher they are standing up to heavy use and lids still fit well and have held their shape unlike certain other brands. So very pleased with purchase.

I have taken soups and stews to work for many years. I've always used plastic containers, but having recently learned about the plastic micro particles ending up in your food when microwaved I decided to go the glass route. These are a perfect size and feel great. The lids snap closed and are watertight. I know this as my journey to work on my mopped is 7 miles on Scottish bumpy roads and there has never been any leakage. I highly recommend. Oh, and they are pretty cheap to boot!

It's the Lock & Lock quality with a fresh glass look. My parterner and I brought our lunch to office every day, she's a fantanstic cook and always wants to provide the best quality of food to both of us. We used the plastic version for quite a long time. They were also good, however, after frequent of us in almost a year, it wore a bit and appeared old from looking. We decided to buy a glass one to be the replacement, I've heard that glass container can give the food a fresher taste for quite a long time, we will see if it's true. I like the elegant design of the product. We bought the square one and rectangular one both. NIce products.

I use it for making a big loaf of bread. It is sturdy, does not leave brown baking spots on the glass (good to clean) and has good volume. Sturdy glass.

I have always liked the Lock & Lock all-plastic containers. However, after microwaving something to boiling, the bottoms get white stuff on the inside that you can't get off. So I tried some of these at the same time as the OXO version which look very similar except for the color of the soft plastic O-ring type seal. However, these are better than the OXO version. Once you have placed the plastic top on the glass bottom, they are much easier to lock, and to subsequently unlock. Also, I've had the tabs on the plastic tops of the OXO versions break in normal use or with minor blows; not so with the Lock & Lock versions. Not that the OXO ones are bad, just that these are much better. Indeed, I can't imagine how they could be improved.

I have a ton of these in different sizes and they are amazing. You can put them in oven and microwave and they stack up so well in the refrigerator saving a ton of space. Occasional breaking of the bowls have occurred on dropping them from a height. Not too fragile but can break if you drop from a height. Quality of the list is good as well . I own a few which going strong for 3 years + now.

Il contenitore è realizzato in ottimo vetro borosilicato (pyrex) che resiste (grazie alle basse dilatazioni) a freddo e caldo estremi. Quindi, senza il tappo, può essere utilizzato in forno e nel surgelatore. In questi primi giorni di utilizzo risulta, una volta chiuso, perfettamente stagno, esente da perdite. Io l'impiego per portare il mangiare in treno nel luogo di lavoro, e altri contenitori in vetro (uso solo contenitori in vetro) mi hanno regolarmente fatto brutte sorprese perdendo liquidi nella borsa. Aggiorno la recensione e porto a 5 stelle la valutazione poiché la temuta fragilità delle cerniere è risultata un falso problema. Sono mesi che adopero tutti i giorni questi contenitori e le cerniere sono ancora tutte perfettamente funzionanti e la tenuta è sempre risultata assoluta (semmai a volte la tenuta delle guarnizioni rende un po' difficile l'apertura del tappo).
