Absolutely Brilliant! :)
Went for the dark brown after not getting on with the light brown. This product is brilliant I can’t stress that enough. I dye my beard otherwise I’d be so grey and I’m only a 33 year old man. I was using just for men for the past year but after a few months I developed severe itchy red skin due to whatever toxic chemical they use in their products. It wouldn’t surprise men if the just for men products are likely carcinogenic or dangerous to health. So I went on the lookout for something organic or natural and came across this which I have to admit I thought it was a load of bolloc@s But, I ordered it in the hope that I could get relief from whatever the just for men chemicals were doing to me and my skin was so itchy and sore. So I literally mixed a heaped tea spoons worth in a plastic container using my old just for men brush. Mixed it into a paste with warm water, I mixed mine too watery though I used away at it anyway. I painted it on liberally and went in and watched a couple of hours of tv. To my amazement when I washed it all off 2 hours later I had a lovely brown beard that looked natural and real for the first time in a year. My facial hair felt nourished and soft unlike before! And it came out the loveliest colour. And the main thing, no itchy red sore face anymore, no irritation and no endless scratching. What a truly wonderful product that is better for your health and actually does a far better job. Thank you so much to whoever came up with this! Tips! Couple of things I learned The powder is green so when you paint it on your face or head things look green even after washing out. Not green like grass but a greenish tinge. Do not worry about this, I noticed after waking up the next day when it oxidises the true colour appears and it’s lovely when it does. I apply in the evening once a week for this reason. For men’s beards you need only a little bit of powder and water so it will last ages There’s an earthy natural smell that lingers especially if the hair gets wet. This doesn’t bother me at all the benefits far outweigh any worry of that It takes longer than my old just for men product ie 2 hours as opposed to 10 minutes however I have no weird chemical burns / irritation and my skin and beard is far better using this Pure stuff without a shadow of a doubt. I treat myself once a week to this and look at it like a bit of me time, sounds weird but when you feel the difference for yourself you’ll thank yourself for it. Final thoughts! If you are like me and you like organic, less harmful chemicals or simply want a product that looks much more natural that the chemical dyes then I’d say jump at this. I’m so so glad I’ve found it and I’ll never go back to just for men or similar toxic chemical brands

Great product that works well...
This works on my beard and covers the grey nicely, thank God is all I can say after long suffering irritation and pain using JFM. This product is easy to use and I've had no issues with poor colouring. My only fault is stubborn white hairs persist but there are very few of these and perfectly acceptable; and you need to keep the dye in for at least an hour I think before washing it out in order to get the results you want (as I'm trying to cover grey I kept the dye in for 2 and a half hours). My beard is as black now as it once was many years ago 👍🏽.

This taught me the hard way that science is our friend
After some irregular periods my hippy friends convinced me that chemicals are bad and hormone disrupting. I ditched my perfume, cleaning products and my regular ammonia filled hair dye. I bought this. It's all natural. How can it be bad? First of all, even with the consistency of yogurt the instructions recommended it was clearly resting on the surface of the hair not coating it. I could tell the effect would be patchy once finished. The pure horror was when I removed my gloves to find my hands stained black. The above picture is after numerous hand washes and a shower. They say not to shampoo and I can understand why. My hair felt so dry and matted. Plus the stuff got everywhere. I hadn't really considered how my usual chemically offensive hair dye has been lab developed and tested especially for purpose and it gave me a new found appreciation for the work that goes in to making synthetic products. I have learned the hard way that natural isn't necessarily good (nature makes asbestos and arsenic after all) and synthetic isn't necessarily bad. I am sorry big dye. I was wrong.

A good product that doesn't harm the hair
My hair colour is a creamy white and I hoped for a subtle blonde shade from the golden blonde I sent for (only used about third of the packet). My first attempt, after leaving it on for about 10 mins was quite acceptable, after the first wash it was a nice subtle shade. After 3 weeks, 2 washes per week, there is still a slight hint of the colour so I intend to use the product on a monthly basis. I have just sent for a pack of strawberry blonde and intend to mix the colours together to maybe give a bit more depth (and less yellow) to the blonde shade!! Time needs to be taken when applying the product. As the instructions say clip hair into sections and work on a section at a time. The cream product dries quite quickly after applying so work it into the section quickly before moving to the next. There was no irritation on the scalp. All in all a good product. I didn't give 5* because the application was quite messy.

Natural dye, works well - first time hair dyer
I've never dyed my hair before, but the stress of the past few years has given me a fair few white hairs. So after a long time of putting it off, I decided to dye it. The only problems is that I get allergic to everything. That's why I went for a natural dye. (Because I knew, just knew, that if I went the chemical route, I'd be done for.) Fortunately I wasn't allergic to this. (To give you a sense of how bad things are, when I did the patch test, my skin was even allergic to the sticking plaster I used to cover the sample.) I'm not going to make a habit of dying my hair too often, just in case I develop some kind of reaction. But I did two patch tests a week apart, and used the dye twice over two days, and it's worked well. I have hair which is on the brown side of black, and so went for Very Dark Brown. I used probably 70% of the packet, mixing it up with water into a yogurt-y paste. I should though have added more water, because the paste sort of dries out as you're putting it on and gets really stiff. Nonetheless, it dyed most of my hair pretty dark. There were a few wispy ones near my ears here and there that I missed (probably because I didn't make the paste runny enough), and that just went kind of blue-grey from the indigo (because Very Dark Brown is a mix of henna and indigo). But I fixed those the next day with a targeted re-application on just those side bits. Here are my tips for application: - Wear: dark coloured clothing that's easy to take off (ideally without having to go over the head) before application - Mixing: Make paste wetter, as paste dried out a lot during application - Rinsing: Wear gloves for rinsing as well, to stop nails staining (can scrub off hands, but hard to get out from underneath cuticles which take a few days to wash out) - Drying: Use dark coloured towels for hair, both on rinsing and next wash. My white towel stained faintly blue, a bit like jeans that run in the wash - though it was fine after I washed it, best not to risk it - Cleaning: Rinse shower tiles after, the dye doesn't seem to stain them The smell to me is like matcha green tea. And I could still smell it slightly during my third hair wash later. But I don't mind that, and am overall very pleased. Considering all the things that could have gone wrong (allergic reaction, staining everything in sight etc), my hair has come out well. The downside is definitely the long recommended application time window (1.5-4 hrs for Very Dark Brown). I only had the patience to keep it on for 2.5 hrs the first time (whole head) and 1.5-2 hrs the second time (for the missed side bits), but my hair's gone dark all over. In fact next time I'll get a lighter shade, as it's ever so slightly darker than my natural hair. My hair's also now looking a little bit more glossy, which I didn't expect (it was a bit dry before but doesn't look dried out at all, like some women's do with chemical dye). So all in all, it's worked well for me. If you're covering a few greys, like I was, make sure you slather it onto the most obvious bits, to save having to reapply like I did the next day. Also, Very Dark Brown is almost black, so if your hair is on the brown side of black, you might want to go a shade or two lighter to just cover the greys. Otherwise your whole head might end up darker than you intended. I'll try Dark Brown or Natural Brown next time. It'll be interesting to see how those turn out.

All natural ingredients
I bought this because I have had a kerasilk treatment to stop my hair from being frizzy so needed a hair dye with no ammonia in. I found it very messy, it smells aweful and was dark green, my hair just needed the roots touching up, I put it all over, left it on for 2 hours, where my hair was grey it had turned green, the rest of my hair was a good shade of brown , on the good side it didn't ruin my keratin treatment as my hair was smooth and soft afterwards but I gave it a 3 as it didn't cover my grey

No chemicals perfection
I absolutely love this product. My hair is glossy and shiny and doesn’t fade. I find it easy to apply and there are a few different ways to apply the paste. When applying I find it easier to apply to combed damp sections and prefer it a little loose so it reaches the scalp. It doesn’t dye my scalp either or towels I have used. I also buy direct from Its Pure. The colours are stunning. My favourite thing about it is it’s completely chemical free and does the job perfectly. Tip remove all silicones and conditioners first. I shampoo, then dye, then rinse and condition. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous Natural Chestnut Colour, Covered Greys, Conditioned and Thickened Fragile Hair,
This is an excellent product. I loved the chestnut colour which I left on for three hours to ensure the depth, as per the guidelines. It covered my greys and they turned a lighter version of chestnut, which enhanced the look. I have very fine mid-shoulder length hair and only used half the packet. I am losing hair quite a lot, it is porous, and I wanted a more natural way to colour my hair with a rich colour that would cover greys. My hair was getting to be in terrible condition despite using non chemical natural products...it was previously becoming like straw. After using this product my hair has become softer again, and slightly thicker. Of course, it will depend on your individual hair and previous chemical/natural colours but I was prepared to take the risk and as I can't risk chemically dying my fragile hair. If the colour hadn't been good, I would just not use it again. I was delighted with the end result! It certainly hasn't harmed my fragile hair. It feels softer, and thicker. The photos featured on Amazon by other customers are true to life. There was more than ample coverage, so a packet did twice the job for me. Was it messy? I didn't find it any more messy than normal hair colours. I used black clothing and a towel and kept an eye out for drips while I applied it in the bathroom. I rinsed any drips as I saw them and there was no staining. The instructions are easy to follow. Put on DRY CLEAN HAIR. Some blogs mention adding oils, yoghurt, egg to henna hair colour mixtures, it is worth researching to see what may enhance the colour and condition further. The smell didn't bother me anymore than the smell of cut grass. The colour has stayed on for 6 weeks so far. I may enrich it soon just to lift it back to a deeper warm chestnut, but it has faded in a flattering way, WITHOUT the 'orange hair' look. I have just ordered three more packets as I think the product is brilliant and I am delighted I have found an easy alternative that may enhance my fragile hair condition further over time, and certainly, not cause it to become damaged in the process of wanting to enrich the colour and cover the grey patches.
