Really nice and thick! Honestly cheap especially for the quality of the cutting board. Scratches do show to an extent, but it is a cutting board. Not to heavy so easy to move around and use in different locations. Havent noticed any warping even with washing. No weird smells when unboxing.

It definitely good board for cutting meat, fruit and vegetables. I notice it does get scratches which is good for my knives, at least they should dull less. Also easy to clean and a little on the heavy side.

I had to put pads on one corner because it rocked but otherwise nice and solid.

The board I received was made from 100% sap wood from the Acacia tree. Sap wood is softer than heartwood and it isn't worth using. Also, the board had a crack about 10 inches long, just off the center of the board which had to be repaired. The cutting board was stained brown to hide the fact that sap wood was used to make the board. The photo does not match the product I purchased. The edges are sharp and should have been radiused. When I get through with repairing this board, I will have spent about 15 hours fixing this piece of garbage. Disappointed? You bet!

This does a terrific job of giving you all the room you need to chop onions or steaks. It's solid, heavy, and does not glide around the table when used. It stays put like it was glued down, and is easy to clean and work with. I used to use one of those plastic boards you buy at the supermarket, but I'll never use one of those again. This is a real treat, and a really processional tool for cooking with. I so enjoy cutting on this board now, being how stable it is, and it provides the perfect size area to work with your knife. You can use both sides. The side with the grove is for meat, the grove to catch blood, and the flat side is for vegitables, easy to wipe off and clean. Overall this is an excellent, professional product.

I bought this cutting board to put on the stove to add counter space safely. I was having incidents where I accidentally bumped the electric burner, melting parts of appliances. (I know, dumb for having them on the stove but we have very limited counter space.) It works great, looks great, and also works as a cutting board!

Decent size and thickness. Pretty. Splintering on the edges after less than a week. Expected better quality.
