I purchased this set from July 2022 and to date, June 2024 I still have most of its contents. the only item completely finished is the cuticle oil, top coat & the nail file all used up. The lamp started giving issues in the 1st couple of months, sometimes its hot & dries well other times you have to plug it out & re-try, but the lamp still works to date. Colors are absolutely cute & buildable, I get compliments on them all the time. After 2 years none of the polish dried up, nor change color or consistency.

This kit is amazing and the lamp works great. The quality of gel polish is really good - colours are potent and nice. It comes with everything you need to have a perfect manicure. The tools work well and cuticle oil is good quality. I would suggest investing your money in this rather than paying $50 for just a gel manicure on natural nails!Tip - when you apply the bast coat even after curing it will be a little sticky, same with the nail colour - this is to ensure that the gel sticks onto eachother. After applying the top coat it’ll be fine and no wipe is needed.The only con might be that the polish might not last as long but I think that has to do more with me learning proper technique for Gel nail polish, overall great starter kit.

Love this brand & kit! Very long lasting. Although the nail lamp could be stronger, it’s still a great beginner kit!

ok, so, generally im a big fan of modelones. their polishs are fantastic and their files hold up to a decent frequency of use (i do my nails once a week, sometimes more often). my BIG complaint regards the LED Lamp.When i received the kit, right out of the box the lamp cord had issues - it would only work intermittently & i suspect it had a short in the wires...i wound up getting a different cord for it, i wasnt thrilled about it but whatever, its an easy fix.my next issue is the LONGEVITY of the Actual Lamp. I purchased the kit Oct. 24, 2022. Last month (May 2023) 2 of the LEDs started sputtering & quickly died. i wasnt happy about it, but whatever. then this month about half of the other LEDs started flickering & now dont work at all past the first few seconds of activation.call me crazy, but i do expect this kind of product to be of service for one year...and this falls short of that by a solid 4 months.

ONLY the top coat sets as gel with the light. none of the other colors set. Not same colors in picture. dark colors sent. only top coat is gel and has to be used to set other colors. am asking for this company to send me several more top coats and of the wonderful milky light pinks and whites like seen in picture. If I get more of the top coat and the colors as seen... I will change my review to 5 stars with a good review. ONLY the top coat is an actual setable gel polish! The other colors do not set under the light unless the top coat is applied... which makes it obvious that they are not active gel. I want the colors as shown above! My Colors were dark and not mostly neutral. Only 3 lighter colors. No white. Mostly dark purple and browns.. I'm so confused. Also, again, only the top coat is actually a gel color. How do I know? It is the ONLY polish that sets under the lights. Is this a scam or was my set defective? When I get gel sets at the salon the colored polish definitely sets without the top coat. I was hoping for light neutral colors like the picture shows with one or two nice neutral darks. I will for sure run out of the top coat in a few uses... the other reviews said it was the light that was defective, because for sure, while using any color even the base coat without the top coat on the light does not work, the polish remains sticky. I thought for sure the reviews of the light were true, until I tried out the top coat twice over the sticky other colors and it set right away.

The colours are so cute and it only took one coat for it be perfect. I will admit the light is not very good but not bad enough for me to spend the money to get a new one, it just takes a bit longer. Light layers are your friend for sure with this product. I wanted an easy to do gel nail kit and that's what I got, now I just have to get better at applying said nail polish.

Great value and a super starter set but sadly the lamp was malfunctioning right out of the box so I returned it without any issue.

I wish the light had a bottom or back. It feels quite cheap but it does work
