10" UPVC Door Letterbox, Letterplate - Black Letter Box - Midrail (40mm-80mm)

I hadn't realised that finding a replacement letterbox for my uPVC door would be so difficult.Having measured the distance between the fixing screws, the door width and the size of the letter hole, this seemed to be a good fit, although not all 10" replacements have the same dimensions, according to the descriptions.Installation was simple, unscrew the two fixing screws to remove the old letterbox. The screws supplied with the new letterbox were the same length so I just used the old ones. Installing the replacement took about a minute. Lining up the screws was probably the trickiest part of the installation, but even this was easy. The replacement seems sturdy enough but time will tell. It was only installed yesterday so very early days.The hardest part of the process was finding the suitable replacement in the first place.Overall very happy with my purchase.

Old style (not draft proof) letter box broke. The door was over 20 years old and most newer letter boxes wouldn’t fit. This not only fit, but provided additional draft proofing.Installation was relatively easy. A decent quality, value for money option.

The letterbox itself is good but the screws supplied with it are far too long and also too thick to fit into the two holes on the plastic front without splitting to plastic hole.

Good value for money would recommend

Lovely replacement for the tatty letterbox I had previously. It wasn't easy to fit because while the flap was the same size, the slot had to be widen to push the letterbox through. As others have said the screws provided were too long so used my own. Otherwise good quality for the price and it looks stylish.
