Bought one over a year ago and ordering another for travel. Better than you know who at a better price.

Recently I've been trying to optimize my "everyday carry" along with many people who spend way too much time on the internet. I travel every day with my aging macbook pro and the experience with the original apple charger has always been very unapple-like. Matte cords that get tangled up around each other, pull on each other and slowly degrade as they are oxidized by skin oils. Rather than taking several minutes to wrap the cord around the charger properly it ends up going in my bag as a big jumbled mess.Enter this charger from icalla. I had serious doubts about this product since it was buried behind many other chargers on amazon and is from a no-name fly by night company with no competitors from larger well known brands. I figured either it wouldn't work or more likely it would get extremely hot and either die or be a fire hazard. Since its $30 I decided to give it a shot and watch it carefully the first few times I used it.It turns out to be an incredible charger that has actually made plugging in my macbook a moment I look forward to. Sleek, elegant and tiny compared to the original with a durable cable that will likely last longer than the original. It gets warm to the touch but not as warm as the apple charger and I feel safe using it and confident it will last long enough to justify the purchase. The usb port is great because when I travel I don't even need to bother or think about other chargers for my other devices...I just bring this one and I know I'll be covered. It fits into a tiny elegant pouch which takes up probably 1/5 the space in my bag as the old charger and can easily fit in a pocket with the included cord. The only issue is the grey decorative ring cracks. I noticed some cracks in my first one and decided to get a replacement which also had some cracks. Doesn't impact the function of the charger, just strange from a design standpoint. I try to keep it in a place in my bag where it won't be under pressure to avoid new cracks forming.TLDR: This is the charger apple should have made. Fast charging for all your devices in a super compact, elegant, and durable form factor. No issues with overheating and other than the decorative band being made out of a cheap extremely crack prone material (the rest of it is made out of high quality plastic) it is a game changing charger.

Pros:- It works. I've only had it for a couple hours but it's charging my 2015 MacBook Pro like a champ.- Tiny. It's hard to appreciate from the pictures, but once you have it in-hand and compare it to Apple's 60W charger, the difference is remarkable.- The packaging was nice and it seems to be well-built.- Detachable cable. One of the big problems with the Apple charger is that it's awkward to store the cable for travel. Sure, the Apple charger has little pop-out feet so you can wind up the cable around one edge, but I'm pretty sure that's bad for the cable and it's why most peoples' cables are in poor condition. With this charger, you can just detach the cable and wind it around your hand (or whatever) just like any other cable.- USB port for charging. I don't really care that I can charge my laptop and phone at the same time, since if I have my laptop plugged in, I can just plug my phone into the laptop to charge it. What I do care about is that I can use this as a standalone charger for my phone, which is super-convenient for the times when I don't want to pull my laptop out of its bag and plug it in just to charge my phone.Cons:- The power outlet prongs don't flip flush with the charger, so there's some worry about them stabbing your stuff when packed, and/or bending them accidentally, etc. Not that big of a deal but it would be nice if they could be folded in.Overall definitely a 5 star product, highly recommended.

This is flat better than the Apple OEM charger. Better thought out, and more convenient. Yes it is. Please don't argue, I've had a zillion Apple chargers, and fixed a zillion of them when they inevitably broke. ;)This has no fixed wires to fray, (so you have to buy another $100 Apple charger, or go on a soldering adventure). It has another USB port on the plug assembly for a phone or whatever, charging at 60v. It has a version of the MagSafe plug, that works as well. It doesn't get as hot as the Apple charging, while charging just as fast.The only thing I would like more is a longer plug cord with mag safe plug. It's a separate part, so getting a longer one shouldn't be difficult. If your computer is a long distance from an outlet, it won't reach, you'll have to use an extension cord or something. It's a two prong plug (USA) so it's not a problem.

On the whole I really liked this charger-- the size, the logically-designed mag adapter at the end... but then my cell phone started acting weird when I was charging it-- the touch screen started going haywire when it was plugged in. The culprit is the USB port on this charger because it doesn't keep the voltage at quite the correct level.I'm sure that the USB works fine for recharging or powering a lot of things, but it might not be best for your more sensitive electronics that require a very specific voltage range.

Charges fast. It does warm the battery up a bit. But after leaving the last one at the airport charging table, I picked up another. Super convenient with the dual-plug situation.

Super compact and gives you the ability charge your iPhone at the same time. Cable is nice and long making it an awesome charger. I wouldn’t waste your time looking anywhere else, just buy this one!
