Took this on a week long Boy Scout camping trip and this was the only lamp I used/needed. Dependable, durable and bright.Works great as a headlamp (super bright) and tent lamp. The battery lasted all week with as needed usage. The glowing feature is a nice touch.I wish these head lamps had add a small bit of memory foam / padding behind the headlamp. After long usage my forehead hurt (this happens to me for all my headlamps).Not sure how long the battery pack will last but hopefully a life time considering the premium price for this lamp.Overall very happy.

Bor på landet, smidig lampa för promenader, joggingturer eller utearbete. Bra batteritid, klarar veckan utan problem (1h om dagen)Använder mestadels mittenläget, men starkaste vid joggingturer

Yo venía de tener el Petzl de 450 lm que perdí en montaña. Iba a comprarme el mismo porque el resultado fue excelente pero vi con una buena rebaja y decidí apostar por el de 600 lm. Sin duda me he llevado una sorpresa grande por la diferencia lumínica que ofrece uno y otro...

I was contemplating ordering a core rechargeable battery for my old Petzl zipka but went the whole hog and ordered a new Petzl Actik core. It’s early days but the beam is very bright and even for walking my dog through the park and woods at night and I look forward to taking the Petzl on trek with me next year when I’ll be needing it for summit days in the mountains when we usually set off in the dark at 03.00 am. I’m happy that I’ll be able to recharge the battery a number of times through a power bank. I have always found Petzl head torches to be very reliable and comfortable to wear. I have tried a number of budget models in the past which have not lasted for long so remain a happy Petzl customer.
