Buddy Bob - Portable Blackout Blinds/Curtain for Home and Travel (Large)

Wait...where did everyone go?These have worked wonders and fitted my large windows almost perfectly. I did measure my windows prior to purchasing this to make sure that it would fit.Assembly is easy all you need to do is put the Velcro stickers to the window panes and you are good to go. Do not make the same mistake as me putting only 3 across the top as after a few weeks use, due to the weight the Velcro came off. I suggest that you use around 4 sicks on the top to make sure it holds the weight of the blinds.Once this is on though, no light goes through, leaving the room pitch black which is perfect after a night shift.Good quality material and a highly recommended product.

I work nights and was struggling to sleep with the daylight. Blind gives full blackout when attached directly to the window frame, the only problem with this was the blind, window and room got hot fast, so I reattached the blind to the wall leaving an air gap the depth of the windowsill. This now means a small amount of light peaks through some of the edges, but everything is cooler and can now open the window if it gets too warm.The only downside is the Velcro pads supplied, they aren't great at sticking so I would recommend buying additional heavy duty ones.Other than the Velcro an excellent product I would highly recommend

Blocks out street light completely. Both my husband and myself sleeping much better. Only 3 stars as the velcro circles keep coming unstuck and blind falls down. Would definitely recommend but intend to buy velcro strips to aid the holding up bit.

I would like to give this 5 stars as the material is really think and doesn't let any light through, fits my window perfectly. But, I bought this as we were moving into a new flat that didnt have a curtain pole or any other way to attach black outs and when we got there I went to put them up to realise there wasn't any of the velcro sticky patches. so I was left with a brilliant black out sheet and no way of putting it up!

Excellent at blacking out the sun. However I wouldn’t say it’s portable or it adjust to any window. It’s not easily portable as the blind is edged in the ‘loop’ half of Velcro, you need strips or the ‘hook’ part stuck to the wall in which the window sits. This is how the blind is attached. you would need a length of Velcro and be willing to stick it to a wall of where ever you are visiting and rip it and paint/wall paper off when leaving. If you cut it/ adjust it you will be cutting the ‘loop’ part of the Velcro off , making it less effective as you won’t be able to seal one edge of the blind down. Good in theory not brilliant in practice

I'm a keen amateur photographer and have turned a bedroom into a small studio. I often do shots where I need no daylight so bought this blackout blind after reading other reviews. It's excellent. So eays to put up but with the benefit of being able to take it down again whenever I don't need it. I only have 3 of the discs along the top of my wide window and just push the sides and bottom agains the frame. Despite that It cuts out ALL the light. I'm delighted with it.

OK. The blacking-out quality is really very good indeed. The attaching of the material to the window/window frame with the stickers bit of the job is the part which can lead to frustration and to the blacking out itself being less than perfect. It is highly likely you will also need more stickers than are supplied with the kit. I wouldn't encourage anyone to put the stickers on plaster, you might have a painting job to repair the damage.All said, it probably is one of the best products you can buy to do this kind of job.

Read reviews and played safe by ordering some heavy duty velcro discs - just in case. No need as discs supplied were adequate and plenty to hold blackout in place. Mine was larger than my window but easily made to fit. Really love the fact that I can take it down when I am on days and just stick it up when on nights. Pitch black with no, absolutely no, light peeking through. One review said tiny pinprick holes over fabric - must have been a one off faulty blackout because there are no pinpricks on mine and I could well imagine that would have been a problem. Highly recommend this for getting a great sleep day or night.
