Works great, no account or $$ required when using as a FIDO2 device.
I love the build quality of this security key. They work great! Don't be discouraged by the often returned or "I had to set up an account to use the device" comments. If you are using as a FIDO2 device, you don't need to set up an account or pay money for a license. Don't scan the QR code on the back of the package. Go through the security key setup with your password manager, email account, or Domain admin account @ MS365, etc.

worked for DUO at K-State
DUO accepted the product at Kansas State University for multi-factor authentication.

If durability is what you're looking for this is the one
The build quality on this thing is fantastic. I don't know what else to say. A lot of them I look at and I see they're made of plastic they've got two different things sticking out either side and they just look flimsy. You know the look you've seen it. This well this is the kind of thing I would expect to see in the military or in a corporate setting where people are not going to respect the durability of the object. And well it's also pretty cost-effective. It's cheap compared to the other ones as well. So no regrets this one's my favorite

No Thales Customer ID
You must have an account with Thales for this device to work. There was no documentation in the envelope. I contacted Thales and they gave me instructions but if I can not login (user ID and password), then I can not register and use the product. I can not recommend this product as it does not work.

Not what it's cracked up to be
I thought this was going to be great, but it’s only good for one account, not multiple. If you want a secure way to open and save credit files, you’d need one for each account you want to protect. I’m not buying ten of these just to keep my accounts safe. What a waste of money and time. They could’ve mentioned upfront that it’s only good for a single account. I can’t even figure out how to format it to reuse on another account. This should work like a master key USB plug. The idea is good, but the results right now are disappointing.

Does What it Says on the Package
My bank started requiring use of a token (and didn’t give them away with the account), so I got this basic model. It worked perfectly, nothing weird to install, does what it’s supposed to every time I’m asked for it, and wasn’t too expensive. Would buy it again if I needed to.

t kind of works.
It works somewhat. I say that because yes it does work like they say it should but here is the thing I have found so far with trying it so far. Is one It doesn't even store anything like fingerprints because all it takes is something to drop the overall voltage that it is reading from it's exposed medel body parts so you can just clamp a clip with some silicone warped on it and it drops down the voltage then the device kicks in and windows or other apps that want to use the pin number you setup to use on windows will kick in and if you know the users pin then you can still get past it. So I'm not to sure what kind of protcan it is giving. That and sometimes it will not see your touch on it and so you might need to touch it a few times before windows sees the device tell it it's okay to ask for the windows pin. So it's no faster then having a app on your phone that you have to use your real fingerprint or face to unlock it to get in the phone then most case have to give that again to open most 2FF auth token apps up to get the 6 digit numbers to give, that's about as fast or faster and at least then I know that even if someone does know or can guess my pin number then they are going to have to go through way more then someone then the likes of the feds would go through to try to get into my stuff.
