I bought the SONGMICS dumbbells to upgrade my home workout routine, and I’m really happy with them. The neoprene coating feels comfortable to grip, even during longer sessions, and it prevents slipping if your hands get a bit sweaty. The hexagon shape is also super practical—no rolling around when I set them down, which is perfect for floor exercises like push-up rows. The build quality is excellent: solid, well-balanced, and the coating protects both the dumbbells and my floor. They’re also quiet compared to metal dumbbells, which makes them ideal for apartment workouts. I’ve been using them for strength training, HIIT circuits, and even just adding resistance to walks at home. Well made weights that do the job. Good handgrip and the hexagonal ends means the weights don’t roll and are comfortable to use. So they are safe to use. I use them for functional strength training and I’m very pleased with them.

Very good, rubber doesn't damage floors and the colour doesn't transfer on carpet either. Easy to use due to the shape and size. However, I weighed them and they came out to be 4.5kg not 5kg like advertised.
