This vase was very well packaged, and had no damage at all when I took it out of the box. Could easily be gifted, the box is beautiful.The first thing you notice when it comes out of the package is that it has a pretty strong wood smell, which is pleasant. If you’re not a fan of the smell though, you’d need to air it out for a few days. It’s been sitting in our kitchen now for about a week and doesn’t have a noticeable smell, so it does dissipate. it smells kind of like a campfire.It is beautiful, and high quality wood. The paint did not rub off or chip while handling it, and there is one seam around the middle but it is not noticeable due to the way it is painted with stripes .If you were on the fence about this, it’s gorgeous and I would highly recommend.

The vase is has a yellowish color instead of a cream/brown.I do like the size, it's great for my tall pampas.Vase is sturdy and seems well made.Excellent customer service!

Upon opening the box, I noticed a slight smoky smell. I sat the vase down and immediately began to check my apartment to ensure something hadn't caught aflame. It turns out that the vase is made from charred mango wood.Given that I'm fond of the smell of burning wood, I'm happy that the vase will continue to smell that way for a few months. I'm also glad that my apartment wasn't on fire.The vase's color and pattern combination lends itself to a wide variety of decoration styles and positioning. While there are some areas of the vase surface which deviate from the overall pattern of the vase (such as small areas where the surface ridges are completely sanded away, or ridges which are darker in color than the others), these add to the charm of the vase and do not impact its overall visual impact. If anything, the imperfections speak to the hand-crafted nature of the vase, and impart additional charm.One improvement I'd make is to place rubberized "feet" pads onto the base of the vase to add stability and reduce the chance of the vase shifting on my floor. This is a quick fix that I can easily make on my own, and does not lessen the functionality of the vase.

This vase adds a touch of elegance to whatever space you decide to put it. It has a rustic appeal and seems to be built with quality. Its tall and decorative and i think it's versatile enough to go with different styles. It was packaged well and came fast.

I am blown away with how beautiful this Mango Wood Vase is! Handcarved and you can see the gorgeous, unique carve marks ever so slightly in the carved out lines. It's so beautiful, you don't really even need friend flowers or reeds to make it any better if more minimalist is your jam. I thought I was going to make a big arrangement with it and I'm finding the artistry of this vase so stunning, that for now, I am just choose to place it by itself next to our contained flame fireplace - It's definitely a attention getter!
