Dow Weathermate Construction Tape 267819 1-7/8" X 55 yards

Marvelous product. Once you have it, you'll find all kinds of reasons to use it. The most recent use is to seal the seam on foam pipe insulation. My intention is to stop condensation in humid weather. It is so much better than the self-sealing foam, which doesn't stick for long. I stuck the end of the roll to an overhead copper pipe and pulled out a couple of feet. I took a utility knife and split the tape down the center and separated the halves. I then cut off 6" at a time to seal the foam.

This tape is serious! Works extremely well with the Dow Weathermate system and bonds very well to their XPS insulation. Cut this tape with a blade, because if you try and do it with your teeth, there is a good chance you will stick it to your face or lips and it will hold fast. Very fast. Painfully fast. Chapped lips and this tape are not friends. However, as a powerful construction tape, the adhesion is on par with or better than Tyvek tape. A little on the pricey side, but that seems to be typical of other tapes with similar purpose.

Worked very well on garage door to secure faced insulation that was only held by pins. It's so sticky it's almost annoying. Only 4 stars because they love their logo on this tape and I would prefer a solid non-logo so my handy work will not be a Dow ad banner everywhere.

Tape seems like it will hold forever! It is way stickier than anything other tape I have ever used! We put it over XPS to tape the seams and it worked great. Definitely don't set it down on anything that isn't clean or it will pick up any dust or dirt that the side of the roll of tape lays against!

works great with foam board,very sticky so be careful when tearing off the amount you are needing to use--as i believe other user(s) have said previously,would definitely purchase again if and when needed.

Best tape I have ever used. Taped foam seams and flashing to tyvek this weekend in 20degree weather and it stuck perfectly. I had the tape in the house prior to using for about an hour outside, so that may affect its ability to stick if the tape stays warmer.

I applied this tape to wood and plastic sheeting in temperatures of around 8 F. Nothing else I have tried would even come close.It's been a couple years since I first applied this stuff and it has held flawlessly. None of the other tapes I have used have held up over time.

I used this tape to seal the seams on rigid insulation on our new construction home. We used a layer of XPS and EPS. It would stick great to the XPS and wood but not the EPS...I don't know that much would though.
