I used these for a trip to the local tubing hill and just wore my everyday uninsulated Salomon Speedcross shoes. Boy was I impressed how well my feet stayed warm while standing in the snow for about 2 hours. I had one sock turned on high heat with one sock off. There was a noticeable difference in comfort. After two hours my toes in the sock that was off felt cold and starting to feel numb but the heated sock was a dream. The socks are thick but still fit within my normal shoes. The heat pad goes under the ball/toe of your foot and the seam is a little noticeable where it starts and ends. This takes a little getting use to but the warmth makes that concern go right away. With 2 hours of use in high the batteries were still at 50 percent power. One thing I had originally not considered was the extra thickness from the battery. My jeans were able to go over the sock/battery pack. The battery is thinner than the style used in the heated gloves. The app is ideal for control. You can control by pressing the button on the battery pocket but unless your lift your pant leg up it’s covered up and hard to see what setting it’s on, so the app gives perfect control and convenience here. Another aspect I had not considered was whether these would be washable. They can be machine washed on a delicate cycle recommended in a fabric bag. Conveniently they include one with your socks, otherwise you can handwash them. I did see the socks cuff stretch out a bit and started to slip down toward the end of the day. This could have been from my jeans rubbing a bit. I would assume after a wash they will shrink back to normal. Overall I am very pleased with how well these keep your feet warm, are comfortable, and feel like a nice quality sock that will not wear through after a couple uses. Looking forward to continue using these throughout the winter and enjoying warm feet indoors and out.

Sent back a few pairs now. The last pair sent back was 169.00...ouch.Over all this one seems to be real good. The correct sock length for 8" hunting boots. Feel the heat immediately no placebos effect. Can not state how long they will last at this point but look to be above average quality control. Overall design id very good.

I bought these socks for an upcoming trip to Iceland. My toes are always cold and I thought it would be a good idea to get some heated socks. I also live way up north in NY so winters can be freezing. I have them on now and they seem to work fine. The app is also easy to use. I will be walking around Montreal next weekend and will try them out there to see how much they will work. I bought the large size and the socks end right below my knees. This will add an extra layer for my legs so I'm happy about that. The only complaints I have so far is that the batteries for socks are too big. I thought they would be flatter but they are bulky to me. The heating coil also feels like it is slightly burning my big toenail. But it could just be how the sock was out on. The band where the sock stops also feels too tight. I will update my review after my trip.

I bought these socks for my husband for Christmas. I wanted to make sure they worked before giving them to him, so I tried them on. OMG, these socks are amazing. I love that I can switch how hot I want them with a push of the button on the sides of the socks. They fit really well around even my feet and calves. The socks start heating up immediately and it feels so nice and cozy. As I'm writing this...now I need to go buy a pair for myself!! Best purchase ever!

it was great. the heat was strong for the toes and being app control and you don’t have to reach down to turn it off and on was great. it was perfect first time. and then on my way back in my car. the socks went haywire. it turns on maximum heat randomly. so frustrated and i have to unplug it.

One out of the two batteries were nonfunctioning. Have reached out to company with no reply. More than disappointing!Update: company reached out to us and sent us a new battery, which works great!

Bought these for my husband's ski trip. He tried them on before leaving and everything was fine. While away, one of the batteries didn't work. Unfortunately, we missed the return window. Beware. As a follow-up, the seller has sent a new battery and response was very quick.

These socks are great! I purchased them as my feet tend to get cold in the winter, especially at outdoor events. They came nicely packaged. They are THICK socks, so keep that in mind, and keep the feet warm pretty nicely due to their thickness.Has three levels of heating, along with a “quick heat” function that warms them up quickly. There’s an app you can download, but I found it simpler to just hit the buttons on the side of the socks.
