Q: Can it be mounted to metal bar corral fencing?

No, unless you know someone that can make a special clamp. It is strictly made for wood fencing. Also it did no good for my horse. He doesn't touch it, he gnaws on the wood fence instead.

pliers, and depending on your stall type, wood.

Q: Can this be hung? Is there a hole all the way through the middle? More pictures would help - of the product, not just the box

No It is set up kind of like a toilet paper roll. Hole only goes part way and comes with a bracket that has to be mounted in a corner of a wooden fence. We had to build a wooden corner and then attach to the bar polls in his pen. Then he would not have anything to do with it.

Yes and no. We put one up for an older horse that was cribbing out of boredom in the barn and it worked, he would play with it instead. I don't know if it would be very effective if a horse was cribbing for a different reason. Placement is also important. We put up in stalls for our other 2 horses, but they don't use because they don't usually stand in that area.
