Very substantial, in fact I found it best to add an equal amount of water to this for just the right consistency. And it tasted very similar to my mother's, which I have never been able to replicate.

My new favorite soup!
Full disclaimer: I have never had Borsch before in my life. I have no idea how “authentic” it is, but I really love this soup. I wanted to try something new, and now it is my new favorite soup. The jars came very well packaged in a reasonable amount of time. The soup itself is really easy to make and just takes a few minutes. I highly recommend!
