I am hoping to write a "helpful" review, after having to figure out how to successfully use this to color my hair. After receiving the two bottle set of shampoo and developer I had to experiment in order for it to actually color my hair. I first followed the instructions as I understood them, to wet my hair, mix the shampoo and developer, allow 25 minutes, then rinse. That did not work at all, and it did not cover my gray roots even slightly. I waited a couple of days, and I tried again. This time I applied the shampoo to dry hair, put a towel on my head, and waited 25 minutes. After 25 minutes I applied the developer, and I waited another 15 minutes with the towel on my head. This application worked, and it colored my hair nicely. The instructions aren't very clear, right down to "squeeze out of packet", which there were no packets, but rather bottles. I couldn't find anything online to explain the application, so I had to figure it out myself. I gave a four star review, due to instructions being very vague, and having to figure out the "successful" application myself. I love the scent, and the fact it leaves my hair very soft, and I am not damaging my hair with traditional hair color. I added a photo, but I wish I had also taken a "before" photo, because I am 64 years old and my roots were "white", prior to use.

Because it just takes approximately eight minutes from beginning to end, it is ideal for those hectic days when I do not have the luxury of devoting an hour to taking care of my hair. It is typical for me to use it in the shower, just as I would with a normal shampoo, and by the time I rinse it out, the color has already begun to impart itself. Considering that the whole procedure seems to be speedy and uncomplicated, I have been motivated to continue using it on a consistent basis. Following a few applications, I became aware of how uniform and natural the color seemed to be. In addition, there is no sharp line or patchiness, which is something that may often occur with home hair dyes. It blends in well with the shade that I already have. Not only does it efficiently conceal gray strands, but it also leaves my hair appearing consistent and revitalized. The coverage is comprehensive. A look that is soft and healthy is achieved by the natural brown tone, as opposed to a hue that is flat or too dark. It is the type of outcome that makes it seem as if I have just had a touch-up at a salon, despite the fact that I did it myself at home in less than 10 minutes.

Not sure about this stuff. On the Amazon page it says SNAIL OIL. Not the package, which I should've looked much closer at, it shows a picture of a snake. Which is it, snail oil or snake oil...which sounds weird. Maybe I haven't heard of this fad.
