Good buy for your money.
Let me start to say that the delivery was fast. The mat arrived very well packaged. It was easy to roll out, as soon as I laid it on the floor it started to get flat.Once it was on the floor it looks sheer almost invisible. The chair glides very easily and very smooth. The mat feels sturdy. If you put lots of pressure on the chair it will leave an indentation but it lift very quickly. It is easy to clean. I even use it for other purposes, as a floor covering when crafting and sewing.I tried on bare floor which is what this mat is designed for and also in carpet, I had similar experiences on both surfaces, the only difference is that on carpet tend to slide a bit, because it doesn't have the carpet grips.Overall, I'm very happy with it, it is a good buy for my money.

No nubbies, but supple and flexible
I've had a hard time finding a floor mat that wasn't utter garbage, and though I've only had this one under me for a few days, so far so good. Wanted to get in an early review for the holiday shoppers in dire need of a floor mat.The biggest problem I've had with previous mats by far is apparently the age of the mats. It seems like most of these things (online, at local small stores, local big chain branches) have been sitting rolled up in a warehouse for years, alternating heat and cold, and essentially fossilizing in the tube shape they are stored in. It takes a week at best to get them to lay flat enough to set a chair on, and then they still curl at the edges. Without some secret conditioning technique I've never found, they also crack and split because the aged vinyl has become brittle. I thought thicker mats would handle that, but no dice, and in fact it may have been worse for both curls and cracks. This fellow, though, was evidently freshly harvested from the vinyl bush right before they boxed it and sent it over. I laid it under an area rug for 2 days because I forgot about it, but it probably didn't even need one. It didn't lift the rug at all even right away, and when I took it out and put it under my chair it was as if it had been born there. Dead smooth. There are no nubbies on the bottom to keep it from sliding when you move the chair, but I've put it over the top of one of my garbage-tier cracked ones and it hasn't slipped yet. The vinyl is on the thinner side but it's durable-feeling and pliant, so I think that's actually an asset here. The thick ones cracked worse in my experience.I dunno what more I can say - it's a literal floor mat. It didn't change my life per se, but it is protecting my carpet, I'm not tripping on the edges, and I'm not worried about cutting myself on broken plastic, so it's doing its job.

Good Mat, but a Little Pricey
I needed a new mat for my husband's computer chair, and you wouldn't believe how expensive these things are. But if you're reading my review, then you DO know how expensive they are! This was a decently "cheap" mat, compared to a lot of the other ones out there. It works good, the chair rolls on it, doesn't really get stuck. We use it on a very thin rug, but it would definitely work better on a solid, hard floor (wood, tile, laminate, etc.). I knew that going into it though! After a bit of use, we did notice that the wheels do make small indents in the mat. Sometimes they bounce back, but not entirely. However, I knew it wouldn't be perfect, since it was a little on the cheaper side, and we were using it on a thin area rug. If you need a mat to do the job, and that's it, I recommend this mat. If you want something more durable and sturdy, I'd pick a different mat. OH yeah, when you get the mat, it is stiff as a board. You will need two people to unroll it and put it flat on the floor with something heavy on top of it. Watch the pokies on the bottom too. Overall, nice mat at a slightly cheaper price than others!

The worst item I have purchased on Amazon in 12 years.
Don't get me wrong- I've had other chair mats before and I didn't "love" them BUT THIS DISASTER was not something I could have ever imagined.Comes in a tube box. Pretty light weight. Taking it out of the box- it's a clear, rolled up mat. Unrolls pretty straight. Mat is flat with no teeth. As you can see in the photos with the black foot rest, the mat crinkles up and bunches whenever I move my chair (which is the same difficulty as not even having the mat and moving on carpet BTW) and it is infuriating. I am 145lbs and have a normal size desk chair. I am not sure if weight plays into these issues or not. The picture with the feet is my husbands office. He weighs 180lbs and his mat slips out from under him daily. He has given up, as have I, and we will be returning.A total disappointment and I wouldn't waste your money.

Flexible mat: not as strong as others
This mat arrived in a tube box which surprised me. Figured it would come as a flat box as a stiff platform. Turns out this is a heavy rolled plastic mat that’s flexible enough to be rolled. One side smooth, the other rough. Smooth side goes on the carpet. Without rubber spiked nubs on the underside, the mat slips a bit. Also, as it’s not as stiff as ones typically bought in office supply stores. The mat sinks under the weight of my office chair on wheels.Overall, only an okay product. But if you want a real mat that’s stiff and with spike nubs to hold traction on carpet or rugs, go to the local office supply store and get the real deal.

Good Quality. Works as expected.
The quality is decent. And the thickness is adequate for the chair weight.Am happy with the mat.

Almost impossible to unroll
OMG! Between the sharp carpet side and the tight roll this was nearly impossible to unroll and flatten! Luckily I remembered a hack from some other plastic items and set this entire roll in the shower on full blast steaming hot water for 10 minutes (at least). This loosened the roll enough but it still took 2 people to completely unroll it! We placed an upside-down coffee table on top so hopefully it will flatten out enough to use tomorrow. I know this was a black Friday deal but sheesh!
