Product says sterling silver, I took a picture to verify, but the 9 looks very shady. Looks like an upside down #5 (525). The pendant is very nice. But I'd rather pay an extra $10 - $20 for a thicker silver chain. 3 stars due to the stamping of the 925 and overall thickness of the chain.

It is a nice medal of St. Michael the Archangel, but the sterling silver is quite dull in appearance. The border around the front is also a little sharp to the touch. The chain is a bit thin for a medal of this size. There is one photo that shows the medal hanging halfway down a man's chest, but this chain is definitely not long enough for that.It comes in an attractive box, but there is a caveat: it smells TERRIBLE. It smells like a house fire. If you have been in a house that was on fire before, you will know what I am referring to. It's awful. I noticed it straight away when I received it. For this reason, it is not giftable as it is.
