Sewing Machine Bulb - 240v, 15watt Bayonet Clip-On Fitting

I got this sewing machine bulb to replace one that had blown, and it fit like a glove. It was easy to pop in and lit up straight away. The light is bright but not harsh, which makes a massive difference when you’re sewing dark fabric or working on tiny details.It’s not the most exciting product, but it does its job well, and it’s good to know it’s a standard 240v, 15w fit. I bought a spare at the same time and chucked it in the drawer for when this one eventually goes — solid value and hassle-free.

Fits my Janome machine beautifully.

Fit my Janome 217-S fine, and I'd estimate I got 11hours of sewing out of it before the bulb died/blew. I recognise tungsten types never last as long as led lamps, but I was really disappointed as I'd had the bulb that came with the machine for three years!). I'm trying another brand as I don't fancy paying out for a bulb a month - would think twice before buying again.
