Excellent Views, Easy to Install, No Need for Batteries or a Subscription
Loving this so far! I'm not a tech-savvy person, but this seems like an excellent product for the money. What I like:* Easy to set up. If I can do it, anyone can!* No need for batteries - the solar batter is working magnificently, which is what I had hoped for. I don't feel like climbing up to change out a battery or worrying about the device failing when I need it. It's getting plenty of light and is 100% charged every day.* 360-degree views, or in my case about 180 degrees. Depending on where you install it, it will give you an amazing visual field that will meet almost anyone's need.* Tracks human movement. So cool! I have a crazy neighbor who walks around behind my place, and it will follow her as she passes by. This is precisely what I wanted in a camera, and it works.* Nice clear pictures and video quality.* Excellent customer service. I called them to see how to get the camera off the mounting bracket so I could install that micro SD card a little easier. They were super nice and responsive. What I don't like:* It does not come with a memory card, so you have to buy one unless you plan to pay for a subscription to use cloud storage. So far, I don't think I need cloud storage. Local is fine, BUT it's a pain to install the card after the camera is mounted. I guess you could just take the camera down afterwards, but I'm not good at stuff like that. I highly recommend getting your memory card in advance so you can insert it properly before the camera is up on some wall.Based on my experience so far, I definitely recommend buying this product.

Great cameras, excellent customer service
Aosu cameras are very reliable and provide excellent video quality! This purchase makes a total of 7 Aosu security cameras I have, both inside and outside my home. The no subscription option was the original selling point but after I saw the quality and reliability my first camera provided, I didn’t hesitate to purchase more. Customer service is amazing, too. I had an issue with one of the boxes being opened and some items taken prior to me receiving the last order so I contacted customer service. Julie was absolutely incredible! She immediately shipped out a replacement and advised I didn’t have to return the remaining contents of the opened box. She kept in communication throughout to ensure the new camera was received and working well. Great cameras and excellent customer service- I won’t hesitate to purchase again!

Good experience
Camera was working good but 6 months in and it's broken, just aims at the ground will not move up and down at all. Disappointing.Update - i reached out to customer service and they are going to send me another camera. Let's hope this one works for long term. It is a good camera if it will stay functional. I like that i dont have to buy cloud storage.

Easy Setup, Good Video, Just Be Smart About Where You Mount It
Why did you pick this product vs others?:After Google bailed on supporting their Nest security suite (which, yes, I spent a small fortune on), I started looking around for new options. A buddy recommended AOSU, so I decided to try out a few models. This one, with the attached solar panel, has been great so far.The camera quality is solid. It’s clear, works well in both day and night, and the 360 motion coverage is a nice touch. The app is easy to use, and installation was super straightforward. I like that it saves to a microSD card (I picked up a 128GB one) instead of constantly streaming like the Nest stuff did. Seems like it’s way easier on my home internet.I’ve been ignoring the push for their subscription plan, even though they kinda make it seem like you need it. So far, I haven’t noticed anything missing. It still does everything I need it to do without paying monthly. Just heads up, if you do subscribe, it’s per device. That adds up quick, especially if you’ve got more than one. I think it was around $7/ month per camera or $27/month for five. Now, for the outdoor model with the attached solar panel, it’s important to think about where you’re putting it. You don’t want it mounted in a spot that barely gets sun, especially during winter. I got mine facing generally south and haven’t had any issues at all with charging. If you don’t have a sunny spot, maybe go with the detached solar panel version so you can mount the panel somewhere else and still get light.Motion sensing works, but like with the other AOSU cams, it’s a little too sensitive. Bugs, passing cars, random stuff can set it off. I ended up turning notifications off just to keep from going nuts. I really miss how Nest used to let me set location-based rules. This doesn’t seem to do that yet.Still, for the price and the features, I think this is a great value. It’s especially good if you want to avoid subscription traps and go the SD card route. Just make sure that solar panel’s got good sun and you’ll be fine.
