Pieces of You (English Edition)

Each story brought up so many emotions and put you in the headspace of these characters. Relating to them and seeing that we aren't alone in our traumas and reactions to them is special. Loved it and I love Tablos writing style. Please write more Tablo!

I absolutely loved this book. I feel I must first note that I am a HUGE K-pop fan...especially Epic High, Tablo, BigBang, Jay Park, Ect....the list goes on and on. Anyway....if I put all of that aside and read this book again with no bias, I would still love it. The short stories really catch your attention and keep it until you realize your at the end of the book and wanting more. As I was reading this book, I kept thinking to myself..I wonder if these stories are actually about Tablo's life? They seem so personal and heartfelt. I sincerely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good read, not just K-pop fans. Actually, thinking about it, this book really doesn't make you think about k-pop or anything like that. If I didn't know it was written by Tablo...I would guess it was some literary great or something. Seriously BUY THIS BOOK ITS AWESOME

Even if you didn't read Tablo's forward, it's very easy to understand the meaning of the title once you've read through the book. It's an easy read for your brain when you consider length and language, but a much more profound read for your psyche and heart. I first became a fan of Tablo over six years ago, when I was caught by the poetry of his musical career, and he has put his poetry in his prose with this collection of short stories. Even without experience with the situations written, the stories call back to the emotions of my own struggling youth, and the pieces of me that I had not thought of often, or recently. I would and do recommend this book to my friends as a great read, especially on down days that call for introspection.

I bought this book as a long time Tablo fan, but I’m reviewing it as a passionate reader that found meaning through the short stories. This is a book for the lost hearts, for those trying to find meaning.

!st the book arrived in great shape. There was no problem with packaging or shipping. 2nd The book itself is really good. It is interesting to see how Tablo felt at that time in his life. It is almost like looking at a photo album. Each story is a brief captured moment in time. He writes well. I am enjoying it.

It is amazing worth reading it

I bought this as a Christmas present for a friend, and read a couple of the stories before I gave it to her. I was so intrigued that I had to get myself a copy as well. I've definitely been enjoying it. I've been a fan of Tablo's music for some time, and I've always thought his lyrics were great, so I'm glad I get to see these stories from before he was a full time musician.

Of course, I am no professional critic, but this book was a whole different experience with what words can do. Tablo's voice is the kind of cool, loneliness that one can only develope through personal struggles and experiences. Like a modern Shakespeare, you need to read it slowly and analyze every word of it, because there is so much more going on than it seems. Behind the cover of the book, a handwritten note from Tablo poetically states how he wrote the book for those who are like him; lost and alone. And his stories, as original as they are, are truely comforting for those who are struggling with life. Overall, you realize that Tablo has a completely different way of looking at the world, and it can clearly be seen through his style of writing. I highly recommend this book and,while I am at it, Epik High's music. They are both two pieces of Tablo's life that fit perfectly together.

El contenido del libro ya es una joya en si, pero al recibirlo quedé fascinada con la calidad de los materiales. Para comenzar, viene en pasta dura, con una cubierta delicadamente impresa en relieve (en coreano y en español). Trae además una cinta fija en la parte superior para usar como separador (un lujo en estos tiempos) y por si fuera poco está firmado por Tablo!! Trae otros pequeños detalles pero mejor dejo que ustedes los descubran.
