Cressi Palau Fins - Adult and Child Adjustable Diving, Apnea and Snorkelling Flippers Fins
I took these on a holiday to the Maldives. Unfortunately, after one attempt, I decided to couldn't snorkel and ended up selling these. The fins fitted well and it wasn't their fault I couldn't snorkel.

Perhaps okay for occasional light use
Strap isn't very secure and hurts my big toe a bit. Would be okay if i only used them occasionally but for the amount of swimming i do work them they're not great for my feet. They don't fit shoes in very easily either. Ashdon maybe i should've gone up a size but then they would've probably been too big.

Very Good
If you find this review useful, please click the little "yes" button below. The Cressi Palau Fins are small, probably 2/3 or maybe even 1/2 the size of 'standard' snorkelling/scuba fins. But, they're surprisingly good.I bought these fins for my 16-year old daughter who was planning on learning to dive during the summer. I wanted some relatively inexpensive, but resasonably high quality fins that she could use during the diving course. These turned out to be a great investment. Not only did they survive the course, but we carried on using them afterwards for general snorkeling. At the time of writing, the fins are probably 6 months old and have been used dozens of times - and never with any issues. One thing worth thinking about. Although the reduced size of the fins means that you get less kicking power, it does make them much easier to use for a beginner. For someone just learning to dive, full-size fins can seem a bit unwieldy. These are very easy to deal with. In terms of loss of power, I used them myself on a couple of occasions, just to see what they're like. I found them to be perfectly usable. In fact for snorkeling, I preferred them over my own (expensive) full-size fins.

Satisfactory
I bought these for a Red Sea snorkeling trip and they're my first fins. They fit in a standard suitcase which is a plus. They were reasonably easy to put on when I had some space to move but were tricky when in a small boat with others.Once on they felt a little uncomfortable while also feeling a little unsecure when it came to swimming.I don't snorkel enough to change them but if I went more regularly I probably would (assuming that I haven't missed a trick in how to wear them.)I should also add that I do have wide feet which may have affected their fit.

Sized a little small
I have big feet; last autumn I went away and the resort didn't carry flippers in my size. I ordered the Cressi Palau flippers to make sure I had some for my 2018 holiday. I have no issues with the design or build; the back strap is nicely adjustable and the foot well is fine. I also reviewed a cressi reef aqua shoes; and these had the same issue the size was smaller than my regular size 12 demands. This meant I had to use them barefoot rather than using my reef shoes in them - and the stiff rubber led to some lovely sand burns on my feet.I donated them to the snorkel shack at the end of my holiday and will find a larger pair next year.

Confortable and easy to put on, but check the straps!
I am no experienced diver, just like to do some snorkelling in summer. My last pair of fins (Cressi Rondine?) lasted almost 10 years, the plastic was broken in the foot zone, flexed to much and turned a bit uncomfortable to use. Bought this pair based on the good experience with the older pair of Cressi fins. This pair is better build, much better to put on (without sock/boots) and seems to give a good propulsion.Last week I was in Algarve and used it several times, experience was positive. However, in the first day, once I dived deeper and when I to came to surface I made more effort and one of the straps gone of the backside of the foot, I managed to put it again without loosing the fin. After that I adjusted the straps and it never occurred again. Now I am always checking the straps...Update, JUN2013: Needed a new mask and bought a set from Mares - Mares Volo One Marea Set Unisex Mask, Snorkel Fin. The Mares fins are superior, better fitting, more comfortable/wider fit, more secure and the straps and buckles design is more "profi" - they don't get out of the foot during swimming. The Cressi feel that give better propulsion then the Mares, however, comparing both (done it today in Algarve) the sensation is that the Cressi fin is getting out off your foot is frequent/permanent. Sorry, took another star from the previous evaluation.
