Edifier 4001352 R1700BT 66-Watt-RMS Amplified Bluetooth Bookshelf Speaker System

I needed some inexpensive bookshelf speakers to put on my desk to listen to music. The depth of the sound and soundstage are incredible. They look and feel like high quality speakers too. The size was perfect for my needs. I like th included remote for controlling the volume and source. the included cables were a plus too.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!! Excellent full body sound from my Spotify bluetooth connection. I used the "High" quality wifi download connection for streaming my music. I play EVERYTHING, from 70s rock to recent Alicia Keyes and decades of jazz music. They are stock set/ tuned for a rich bass, so some music may need to be reduced a bit. The music is very accurate to it's original recordings. CRISP centered vocals when recorded that way; 70s music plays like old school stereo recordings. If you liked your old school sound of your home being filled with music you can here from two rooms away, or just want it nice and smooth in just the room your sitting in, these speakers do not disappoint. The volume adjusts louder than I was comfortable with, so volume is PLENTY for inside a normal living room or bedroom. The remote was ez to use and look of the speakers got a "LOOKS GOOD" from the wife, so they passed the "CLEAN" look test. Seriously one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. I felt like a 12yr old kid on Christmas day getting his very first stereo system.

Great sounding speakers for the price. Had to return first pair after power supply was cutting out, but received new speakers that have been working perfectly. Setup was easy.

edit - before reading below, I commented that these are nice sounding but volume deficient. That was based on hardwiring through the inputs on the back. I have since removed that wiring and connected my MacBook via Bluetooth and these are now very enjoyable and exactly what I wanted. I bought these 8 months ago to replace a set of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1's that died after almost 10 years use. I use them on my MacBook Pro computer system on either side of a 32" HP monitor. The Edifier is a very nice speaker with very good tonal balance and sound quality that are about equal to the Klipsch. But, compared to the Klipsch computer speakers, the volume levels are a bit lacking on the Edifier; I leave the Edifier volume turned to full, and for some videos and CD's, I have to turn the computer itself up to nearly full volume, where before I only needed to go to 50%. Visceral impact is also lacking compared to my previous system. The only other thing I find annoying, and is a minor quibble is when I turn the speaker on and off, when I unplug from the laptop, I have to turn the volume back up to full when turning them back on; they don't save the last setting used. - edit - again, once connected through Bluetooth, the volume is great. Do I feel these are good speakers? Yes. Do I feel these are worth the amount I paid for them? NO. After 8 months of living with them, I'm looking for other options.

I paid 169.00 and I seriously dont think you can find a better sound for that especially in such a small for factor. They sound great, good highs and lows. Speakers really shine when you separate the max length of provided cable. Great for a kitchen or a bedroom. If you're trying to blow your ears out well don't get rediculous now.

Quality Sound Exceeded expectations

The play well above the price point. Using the speakers to replace a 2.1 setup on my computer. I don't miss the 8" subwoofer in my old Logitech as these have very good base response.
