The bottle opener broke on the first use. If I was strong enough to break the opener then I would have thought I’d be strong enough to open the bottle

I couldn't get my hand around the black one. It is useless to me.The purple and white one opens water bottles if I first cover the lid with a rubber gripperThen I put the opener over it and it will open the water bottles most of the time.

I bought these for my Mom, who had a stroke, so she lost a lot of strength in her dominant hand. She is now able to open her jars, cans, drinks...not to mention other little things she has found them useful for. So, if you are having difficulties opening those bottle/jar lids, popping those tabs on a can of soda or anything remotely similar to that, pick these little gadgets up, or gift them for your loved one as I did.

I bought 6 to give friends and 1 for me but when I used it for the first time the bottle/jar opener broke, I didn't use excessive force or anything I just put it on the top of the bottle I was going to open and it broke. I wish I can have it replaced because it's not cheap. I should have read all the reviews before I make the purchase.

My hands are small making it hard to grip for some uses. The illustrations on the box are helpful. It takes a while to determine how, and what it’s best to use for. In some cases, using it to grip, just the top, of the break-away type lids (with serrations) will work best.The smaller one gets more use by me and justifies the price. Opening bottles smoothly and secure. The tab lifter (bottom of handle) and seal breaking features are wonderful.

Bought it for my Mom who has arthritis and it did not work for her. I would suggest higher quality openers, even if they are more expensive.

I am really disappointed with this product. I got this on Tuesday, used it once just fine. On second use (see photos) it broke. It is very cheaply made with a plastic hinge. I will continue to use my pair of pliers in my tool box.

Haven't had a chance to put them through all the things they are supposed to do, but I have used them to open a bottle, lift a ring on a can lid and they worked as stated. So far, so good!
