I guess reasonable value. Fun to play with. Shorter than expected. Decent aluminium handle. Plastic blade held in place by two small grub screws supplied in bag with Allen key. Don't loose them! No coupler supplied as you have to disconnect the end piece on one of the sabres and then it will screw into the other one - don't loose the speaker grill. The instructions are awful. I suspect there was a separate coupler originally. Which would have been a better idea. The instructions fail to mention that 4 quick clicks enters and exits silent mode. The sabre can only be turned off (with long press) when sound is on which is very very daft. You need to spend half an hour working out how rubbish the instructions are and how the sabre responds to various clicks. The sounds are annoying, interesting and not as I expected. I think I can make more realistic sounds myself! Flash on Clash is mentioned but with no instruction and there is no flash on clash as far as I found - edit it is there and does work sometimes. You can single press button and it will flash - maybe that is what they meant. Battle mode is just a load of odd noises and flashing colour to white. Colours are ok and last colour mode seems to flash pink and whitish. Slight disappointment is lack of USB C. My silver ones have a jack plug for charging. Reviewers with black ones seem to get the USB C. Not a big deal just annoying. I am fussy as you can tell - hence the 3/5 score - a bit like some of the Stars Wars films.

My sons love them. They feel good, sturdy, durable, and well-made, with great sound and nice color variations, brightness is great, decent size and fits nicely into the hand. The blades do loosen a little and you need to tighten the screws regularly. Switching between the double and single lightsabers is a little tricky, but overall, it's a great buy for the price, and my son's are happy.

Feels good, but one of the sabers power buttons seemed like it was off. Had to tap the hell out of it to get the rubber contact to align up again
