Was not expecting a much improvement in speed over the Wi-Fi speed but it gave the speed to the full capacity of my service provider which is 1 gig upload and download. Will advise to anyone who is looking for the same needs.

I really love the extra usb ports. Computers don't ever have enough of them and now with no ethernet port I have to use one of the 2 usb slots for internet. Now that's not an issue anymore. Very good quality product and it is working amazing.

This product worked great for two years and a few weeks ago for some reason it quit connecting at a Gigabyte on my network. I contacted the company that sold this because these have a three year warranty. They were very responsive and sent a new one immediately. the only reason I gave 4 stars was that the old one stopped connecting at a gigabyte it would get 5 stars if it weren't for that. They say wear and tear but it wasn't used that much it appears to be an internal failure the pins look good that would be the first place I would look. I then tried it on a second computer and reload the driver that was all I could do for a problem like this, but they made it right without a hassle so kudos for great customer service. This has been a good product in a world that's getting rid of USB ports on computers. The new one works great I can now do large file transfers much faster again.

I've had this adapter for months now and it's never given out on me once. It gets a little hot when in use, but it's never shut down from the heat, unlike other hubs I've used in the past. Great gadget to add to any machine that will last for a long time.

I do not have WiFi or good cell service where I live, so to connect to the internet for downloads like app updates and audiobooks, I like to have a way to connect my iPhone via Ethernet. Apple sells a "Belkin Ethernet + Power Adapter with Lightning Connector," which would be less complicated to use, but it's $100. With this one, I have a USB-to-lightning adapter that I click onto the USB end (which then plugs into the iPhone), and a USB-to-USB cord that I use on one of the three USB ports and connect to a regular iPhone charger (the iPhone does not provide enough power to run Ethernet on its own). It's a bit of a set up, but I am able to download my audiobooks, update my phone and apps, etc. It's compact and looks nice, too, which is a step up from a bulkier one I purchased 5 years ago for my first iPhone.For anyone who wants to try this out for themselves, I'm currently using an iPhone 12 mini; as a warning for people with older phones (I had a first gen. SE until recently), after an iOS update, the Ethernet simply stopped working. It was the iOS, not the hub; as soon as I upgraded my phone, the Ethernet started working just fine. I'm not sure how old is too old to use with Ethernet, but I'm glad I upgraded when I did, because the phasing out of Ethernet for older phones caused me a month or two of problems before I was able to upgrade my phone entirely.As for the hub itself, aside from use with my iPhone, I'm glad to have it as an option for adding extra USB ports for my laptop (Surface Laptop Go) if I need them. Overall, I recommend it.

Does exactly what it says it does and seems faster internet than my previous dongle. highly recommend, its PERFECT for laptops that dont have Ethernet connections

Für mein etwas älteres Laptop ohne LAN-Ausgang und ohne USB-C suchte ich einen passenden LAN-Adapter, am besten mit ein paar USB-Slots. Kein leichtes Unterfangen, denn heutzutage sind fast alle LAN-Adapter auf USB-C ausgelegt.Hier wurde ich zum Glück fündig. Der Adapter tut was er soll, die Geschwindigkeit ist top und die USB-Slots sind sehr praktisch.

As the Ethernet port on my TCL Google TV is restricted to 10/100 Mbps, I decided to purchase this dongle to attain the speed I have subscribed to (500mbps) and I can confirm that it functions perfectly.I will provide an update to this review if any problems arise.

I had problems start to develop with my onboard LAN socket. It was intermittently dropping connection randomly. Very frustrating! Got this and it just works. It's plug & play with a Realtek LAN port. The USB ports are a bonus, but as the manufacturer states, don't use items that require a lot of heavy data movements. However, they do work for reasonable actions. Highly recommended.
