The forest was burned down, unfortunately
The smell is intolerable. It's an intense, burned-wood scent. To check if there was some separation, I shook it up and pumped half of it out to see if it smelled different. It didn't.

Wrong Scent
The sent me the regular Lumberjack, not "Falls Lumberjack."Very different smell between the two varieties; the regular Lumberjack smells a little bit like a diesel fire. But in a good way. The scent is definitely not for everyone, but it has grown on me.The balm itself is great at soothing my sensitive skin.

Fall's Lumberjack - After Shave Balm - 114g
I just received the product today and couldn't be happier with it. It took me a while to figure out the correct position to get the pump to work but the product is first class. The scent is subtle but very refreshing and the consistency and soothing feeling on my face was superb even after sustaining a couple of small nicks from shaving too close. I would recommend this high quality product to anyone who enjoys a soothing shave. I was also in contact with a gentleman from Henri et Victoria about another one of their products and the interaction was a pleasure.

Smell is so bad. Small hard pieces in the cream
First the smell. It's a mix between how your clothes smell the morning after a bonfire, and rubber. It's overpowering and horrible. However, that's a risk I took when I ordered a "smoke based" scent. I did not expect there to be hard pieces of cream inside the container. Not very comfortable to rub into your face when you're trying to moisturize not exfoliate. I think if the hard pieces were gone and the scent was bearable, this might have been ok. Oh, also there's a card inside the product asking you to email the company first to discuss deficiencies rather than leaving a review... well, I did that a week ago and received no response so, here we are.
