Great Building set
I love building models whether it is brick building or cement and glue. This particular set caught my eye awhile back and finally ordered it. This is not a set for the faint of heart. This is a intermediate + type of building set. Even I was a little overwhelmed at first but it is quite incredible when it is completed. This is something that is for display only - not to play with. This is a fragile model and there are parts of this that can easily fall off if handled improperly. I will be the first to admit that I did have to use some model cement to hold a few of the parts in place because of this very reason. Just putting that out there so there are no surprises for people who are thinking about getting this. Other than that, this was a fun build and I really enjoyed working on this one. It was worth every hour I spent on it and it looks great now that it is completed.

Amazon told me to change my review
Oh boy, what a fantastic display build. This one tested my patience, as small parts were galore upon galore. Thankfully, given how many there were, no missing parts. Really interesting choice of all the WW2 arms to recreate, but I am grateful. As true gun no longer exists, I do belive this to be as true to original as possible, given archival photos and footage. Takes patience and commitment, but will not disappoint. Assembly can be complex, so take your time. Instructions are clear, Nifeliz style packaging, definitely a static-forever piece. Very fragile. Not for children.

Dora rail gun NifeliZ building kit review.
Looks like a good build. But I found it to have weak assembly stabilizers. It’s not LEGO so some of the fit is difficult. Quality of the subject matter is good, it rides on wheels not rails. Wheels roll well. I enjoy building anything so I found it enjoyable. The instructions are fairly well organized as far as the packets. The directions of the pieces leaves a little for improvement. The turn around symbol there but not always clear on which way to turn it. No missing pieces is a giant plus. Fit is an issue at key points of assembly. One section is left sorta hanging when it really needs a strong attachment. Some places have weak attachments and make adding the larger sections difficult. It tends to break apart at an earlier stage of build, having to back track to pre step assembly. Patience it a virtue in the kit. I would Like to see improvements in stabilization. Price was agreeable when you know the price on any LEGO set.

Very Difficult to Build
I found this kit impossible to build - I was able to build for the rail cars without too much issue, but trying to build the platform was too much. I restarted that part of if 3 times, but I could never figure out the error that I was making that result in everything being unstable. I've built several other kits from this brand - and I've had no problems with those kits. This one, though, is the "oldest" design of theirs that I have ever tried. I'm going to chalk up the problem to the fact that this one of their earliest designs. To be clear, even the two rail cars are not the most stable of block construction - I was seriously tempted to break out the super glue in order to make sure that everything stayed together. The railing in particular, are pieces that are held in place by only a single stud. Also, while the bags *are* numbered like the listing claims, said numbering is incredibly hard to read. The only thing that was on the bags in my kit was the step numbers that that bag applied to - with the text being probably 3/8" tall. There were also unnumbered bags that are needed for various steps - so if you decide to buy this kit, locate those an open them as you'll need them early on. To give you an idea of my skill level, I'm an adult with 20+ years of regularly build 2000 and 3000 piece kits from the various block companies, with a focus on military vehicles and cars. This is the first kit where I decided to simply give up.

This is a Complex Model
I have read other reviews of this model. The finished model is a striking static model. However, it's only a representation of actual cannon. Many details do not align with the real-world Dora. I found all of the parts that are shown in instructions to be included. The parts envelopes are the right size for manageable assembly. As mentioned by others, the bag numbers are difficult to read. Three unmarked envelopes contain parts used throughout the model. The instructions are clear. However, as discussed in the next paragraph, I found instructions not sufficient to successfully complete the model. Part finish is variable and too glossy for this type of model. Here I will dive into the weeds of my assembly experience. These comments assume reader has model and same instructions as I do and is determined to finish model. Steps 55-59: Do not complete as shown. The pin at top prevents closure of top plates installed later. Eliminate the top pin. Play with assembly to see how to do this. Step 67: Add more reinforcing to this assembly. It does not align as shown without extra connections. I did this using some extra Lego parts I had. Step 69: The rods contained in bag are too short. Set these rods aside and substitute rods used in Step 563. Step 69 rods are adequate for Step 563. Step 72: I found it easier to install pin parts later in assembly, at Step 451. Steps 164-168: Install Step 166 parts first. They are difficult to install. You will see what I mean when you try to install. Keep orientation of assembly in mind. The preceding steps are repeated in assembling the other half of frame trucks assembly. Steps 155, 158 and 435 do not result in a positive connection of deck to rear trucks. If you have experience with Lego Bricks the following might make sense: I substituted a 7-hole girder piece to support the deck posts. (A 6-hole piece would be better if you can find one.) Attaching deck to main assembly is more complex that what is shown in Step 451. (Installing some of Step 72 pins on deck assembly helped ease assembly.) See building model photo opposite of page headed by a "It's a building model first..." page 9?, for a hint on how to do this. (BTW: I think model shown in this photo used some glue at several locations. My modified assembly did not need any glue. Final Comments: 1) Substitute/additional parts may be purchased at a great price on TEMU. Parts I purchased from Temu are generally better quality than parts in model. They take time to arrive. 2) I bought this model for my grandson 3000 miles away to build while I built mine. I am pretty sure this experience has soured him on Legos/brick models. 3) The trucks fit very well in Brio track. I am currently building a display base. 4) This is my third Nifeliz model. I have found their customer support excellent in the past. I did not contact them concerning Dora. 5) Yep, I found Dora flawed and difficult to assemble. However, I am pleased with final result.

An amazing brick model, this is huge, but very fragile, so I recommend a bit of super glue in certain areas, went together with no problems, and looks great. Manual is a work of art, step by step instructions, just take your time, and double check the pieces, and you will have a superb display model.
