Fuji Enviromax Super Alkaline AA + AAA Battery 48 Pack - Eco Friendly, Mercury-Free Batteries, Business & Home Use, Pack of 48 (24AA + 24AAA)

Initially I LOVED these Enviromaxx batteries. I put the AA's into my battery-operated vegetable peeler and it ran like a frickin' chainsaw! Never had that much power using Duracells or Rayovacs in it. So once my old batteries died in my clocks and remotes, I didn't hesitate to replace them with Enviromaxx.Unfortunately, the results are not as good with anything other than my veggie peeler. These batteries don't seem to last as long as my other battery brands and I have to replace them more often. Weirdly, one clock won't run AT ALL with these batteeies.The biggest and most disturbing thing is how often the Enviromaxx batteries LEAK! I've never had batteries leak unless I found some super old ones in the back of a drawer or something; yet these almost ruined a small remote within a couple of months. I noticed my galaxy light remote wasn't working last night and thought it was weird cuz the batteries were just put in it mid-December 2021. Upon opening the back, I found one of the AAA's had leaked throughout the chamber. After painstakingly cleaning the connectors, I tested the other battery and it still registered as a high charge, so had the other not leaked, the remote would've been fine. Sadly, others have leaked right in the package despite proper storage🥺I wish I had better results with these batteries. I was excited that these were supposed to be more environmentally friendly, but since I'm having to discard them at a much faster / higher rate than others, I'm not seeing the benefit of using Enviromaxx batteries for much longer.Hope this helps. Could easily have been 5 star - I’d consider this a solid 4.5 so far. They are environmentally friendly which is the draw for me, but the surprise is that these last almost as long as our go to Uber-Long lasting battery choice. If these had tied or even surpassed them, well, then they would have received a ten star! Suffice it to say if, when these are through, they all perform as well as the first several have then we will keep buying these. As stated I docked a point because they don’t last quite as long - thus is why this review has taken so long. But factoring the benefits of these batteries I plan on purchasing these moving forward. Great job!

Because I have found these batteries to leak, I removed them from a digital gauge that i was going to store. My surprise was to find one battery already leaked, with rust on the negative contact, but with 1.5V still in it !!!You can see the 2027 expiration on the battery.I had the same problem with Duracell batteries, and that is why I do not buy them anymore. They ruined too many devices for me, but recently I found a Duracell battery, totally dead, with 2007 expiration, and not a single trace of a leak.They do not manufacture good batteries as they used to.

Good purchase, endless amount of batteries for a low price. These will take a good while before I get through them. It’s definitely nice to always have batteries on hand for the tv remotes around the house and those toys that you unknowingly purchase Requiring (and not including) batteries. Only to get home and watch your child happily opening and than turning to disappointment when it doesn’t work due to lacking the batteries that it should have come with.....No disappointments in the near future with this purchase!

Great batteries but I wish the packaging was either a plastic clamshell like Rayovacs or individual cardboard boxes like Energizers. This packaging is hateful, hard to open and difficult to store. Otherwise it would 5 stars.

I use these batteries for every remote, toy, blood pressure cuff,scale etc that needs batteries and the price is worth it

We've put in a couple tv remotes a month or 2 ago. Haven't had to change them. Bought for that and flashlights, electric locks and thermostat in house.

They don't leak.

So what you ask. They arrived in blocks of four making the packs too bulky and unfit for the storage space I had available. Just hope the batteries perform as advertised
