Couldn’t put book down just finished book 16 can’t wait to read all the series it’s made me laugh and cry well worth reading

There are 29 books to The Adams Family & I have just finished reading the last one. I can honestly say this was an amazing read from start to finish I didn’t want it to end.There’s no words that express my joy at reading them, only to say this would make a brilliant Family Drama to watch on television. A well deserved praise for the author would love to read more like this 👏👏👏.

This is the first book I have read from this author and it’s really enjoyable, unlike some other authors where you have a good idea how it will end this keeps you wondering until the very end. I think there are quite a few books in this series and looking forward to reading everyone of them.

This foundation of the Adams family saga grips the reader right from the off! It's London base does not exclude others as the conditions of the time were close to universal for the majority of the country, and we can all associate either from our own experiences or those of our parents and grandparents. Well written with a strong character list this story of ordinary people trying hard to be noble in difficult situations brings to life an era that sets the scene for the following books but is also a complete story in itself. Hard to put down, but be warned: you will be hooked and looking forward to the next episode!

Easy reading, but enjoyable and will read other books by this author.

Thanks to Kindle I can now read all these books in order, not just when I can find them in the shops. I get so engrossed in the stories I feel like one of the family. Because she describes the characters so well, It reminds me of children I went to school with and grew up with in the 1950's. Also, as the writer described the house the Adams family lived in, it was exactly the same lay out as the house I grew up in with my parents, sister and brothers.I love all the Mary Jane Staples books about the Adams family, They are brilliantly written.

I absolutely loved the audiobook , the narrator was perfect for the characters, I found myself lost in this family saga. The story is really good as a stand-alone but I am looking forward to other books in this series
