Not fit for purpose, cheap screws make it non weight bearing.
Not fit for purpose. They look great, but I was woken at 1am with the sound of a crash. I went through to my bathroom to discover that the weight of 3 soap dishes with 3 soaps on one shelf had been too much for the inadequate screws used to fix the wall mountable brackets to the shelves. The screws had just pulled out of the unit, leaving the brackets on the wall and the shelf in the bath. The soap dishes were broken but the shelf was OK as I had an old rubber shower curtain in the bath from doing some DIY, including the mounting of the shelves that evening. It’s a real shame that they have used such shoddy hardware to fix the brackets as, had they actually not been keeping it too cheap, and paid for descent screws, this would be a really nice product. I cannot day if the finish used is cheap and would wear badly in time, as the shelves didn’t make it past one day. Another shelf separated from its brackets and fell off the wall under its own weight just after I had cleared up the destruction from first one’s demise. They also damaged other items in their falling, so they’ve actually COST me more money!Don’t waste your money sadly. This will not hold weight, it’s impossible with the screws they’ve used. The shortness of the length and the tiny thread used in MDF means they literally pull straight out when any, small force is applied, force being weight of something put in the shelf surface. You can see in my photos that the brackets are actually left in the wall, whilst the shelf is in the bath! I was going to paint the surfaces with marine varnish and use silicone to seal the edges so that water wouldn’t blow the shelves, but they didn’t even make it to that stage! Such a shame as they looked so nice.Seriously, save your money though.
