These are the best of these style of dishes out there. They have actual hinged latches which is far superior to other bendable plastic on the market. Also of note is that they are heavy-gage glass with thick flanges for the lid to latch to. They are made of Borosilicate glass, which is what laboratories use because they are resistant to chemicals, stains, and shocks.Another advantage is the packaging. Each dish is surrounded by foam packing sheets fitted to the box and between the dishes, yet it opens in a way that allows you to remove one at a time. See photo. That makes it ideal to store the dishes in between use, in kitchens with limited storage space.I marked it down for two reasons. My storage box, that I planned to use in the way I described, was torn up and was shipped that way, as it was the internal box. Yes I could tape it together but that would not hold up as tapes degrade fairly quickly. Had I known it would arrive like that I would have refused it.The other issue, on the dish design, is the internal dividers do not meet the lid, so the individual sections cannot be sealed and can leak into the other sections.

These containers are great for meal prepping! I have had them for over two months now, and so far they have held up wonderfully through weekly use and dishwashing (both the containers and the lids). Since the containers are glass, I am careful when storing them (gently place them on top of one another) and do not sit them directly next to each other in the dishwasher so that they don't hit each other and potentially crack. I use them mainly for my lunches for the work-week and they have really motivated me to fill them up with fun and colorful, healthy lunches!Do be aware that if you tip the container with liquids inside, the liquid will go into the other partitions as they are not sealed off from one another. This is not a problem for me as I do not typically put things with liquid inside, and the container never really gets tipped as I transport it in a lunch bag from home to work anyway. The rubber seal sometimes pops out of the lid when opening, but it very easily pops right back in and I am sure it comes out so that it can be cleaned easily. All-in-all, a great purchase and I am very happy with them!

Love these bento boxes. On weekends I cook for my family and pack and label individual meals in the refrigerator so that when I work late everyone has healthy food. We just pop a bento box in the microwave and have a yummy and healthy meal. These glass bentos are much better for this than the plastic because I don’t worry about them leaching chemicals, they are much nicer to eat from than plastic, and they can be popped in the dishwasher and don’t get all messed up. However, they do not travel well. For school lunches I use the plastic bento boxes. The walls separating the containers on these glass ones do not reach the top so food spills from one section to the next if they are jostled around. This is not a problem if the food just sits in the fridge but is a problem in a backpack. But I love these much more than the plastic ones - they are actually kind of elegant!

I really like that they are stackable as my cupboard space is limited. Also, I like to prepare several days' worth of meals including salads at a time so I have some days with no cooking and still fresh, healthy eating. These are the best food storage containers I have used. I like spinach, tomato and hard-boiled egg salads and I store the ingredients ready for eating in the 3 compartments. When I am ready to eat a salad, I mix these 3 ingredients together, add bacon bits, shredded cheddar cheese, salt & pepper, and blue cheese chunky salad dressing - so good! Of course, I store them in the refrigerator, and I am very pleased to have salads fresh 3-4 days after the ingredients have been prepared.

These are very well made. The lids are hinged so they don't break off after so many uses. I was disappointed by the size of the sections-thought they would be larger BUT they are probably appropriate serving sizes so hopefully I will lose weight 😬

I love my Pyrex snapware but they don't have any divided container options. I love that these are glass and divided. Haven't been using them for long so can't speak to durability really. They are slightly harder to clean than glassware without dividers, but the dividers are also kind of the point, and glass divided containers are easier to clean than plastic. The lids don't snap on perfectly easily all the time, but they seem to get the job done.

This was a gift to one of my daughters. Surprisingly heavy, but once I looked at these pieces I understand why she wanted them. Heavy walls on these containers. Should be very durable and good for hot and cold. Plastic lids seal the contents inside. With the lids removed, these should be good for microwave, and, possibly, heating in an oven. Nice quality, too. The containers have multiple compartments to keep everything separated. The set came in a single medium-size box, well packaged and with no damage or other issues. These are NOT plastic so expect the box to have some weight to it.
