Medium thickness. The part that covers the bottom of your feet has this extra soft feeling. Doesn’t seem like they’ll tear easy. I will purchase again.

I'm really liking these socks for trail running. They fit my feet well and are super comfortable. They offer cushioning without being too thick. These helped eliminate some hot spots that I was experiencing with my other socks. That alone has moved them up the ranks to my personal favorites.

UPDATE: So it’s approx 6mos later and my husband is STILL raving about these socks. He’s a sz 9.5 Mens, so I ordered sz Med and they fit him perfectly. He loves the way they feel on his feet, provide comfort and they have excellent moisture wicking capacity. That’s an important feature since we live in hot humid Fl and my husband is very active outdoors. For me, I am happy they hold up exceptionally well in the wash (second image). No runs, little fuzzies or shrinking. Although I received these free per the Amazon Vibe program, we’re definitely buying a pair in a different color. I also love when a product has their own Amazon store. If we really enjoy a product, we can view what other quality items they have for sale. The cost of these break down to 9.99 per pair, which is comparable to name brand socks we were purchasing from a local sports store. Also, with Amazon Prime, we know they’ll be shipped quickly. These socks have minimal compression, but look okay and feel okay. The socks pretty much fit as expected within the range of size they have (mine are the large size), but each sock is not consistently sized - one is much smaller than the rest, the others vary quite a bit. If you are looking for some serious compression in an ankle height sock, these probably are not the best choice.

She was excited to try them out.The Medium size socks fit her size 8 feet perfectly. She noticed a big difference as soon as she put on her running shoes. She could tell the socks added a very comfortable layer of padding. The socks fit tight and secure. They are very well made with quality materials and sturdy stitching. These socks come up about 2 inches over the ankle. They are padded and have a slight compression but are not uncomfortably thick or hot. The fabric is stretchy and seamless so they do not bunch up, slide down or rub on your toes. I wear them with boots when I hike, fence or will be on my feet all day at work. My boots can be hot so the moisture whisking properties are very important to me. I tested these during a recent fencing classes which lasted 3 and half hours, outside, in South Florida, in July. I will be wearing them every class going forward.
