Javelin Tattoo Pen Kit (X Kit + Radiant 7 Colors)

I love this kit. Im a beginner (super beginner) and this pen has been perfect. Easily adjust voltage or needle hang. Battery has been perfect it’s never died on me. Super nice weight. The dvd didn’t work for me but that doesn’t falter my opinion of my purchase at all. I’m glad I took the chance on this pen kit. The needles that come with it aren't to shabby either.

I was really surprised at how smooth and quiet these pen guns are, and they work great. Easy set up, easy transition at least for me it was. I'm extremely pleased with the performance, quality, and the price, unbeatable.

Javelin has weight to it. Sturdy feel. Smooth adjustment. Strong and quiet motor. The only problem I had was the battery was damaged in the box. The seller was quick to respond, sent a replacement but it got sent back to them instead of to me. They offered me a choice to send it out again or get a partial refund. I chose refund so I can order a battery in the future as I am still a learner. I have a power supply from another training pen set that works fine for now with the Javelin. Sometimes the cartridge hangs out when I release my pedal. If I press the pedal again it goes back in at rest like normal. It might be the strength of the power supply I have. TL;DR Pros: strong quiet motor, smooth adjustment, good weight Con: The on/off/joystick style button on the battery was broken off and would not turn on the battery. Design flaw IMO.

Man when I was so excited when this came in couldn't wait to get it charged up and see how it feels well I got it I got to say I love how easy it is to use battery lasts forever doesn't really take that long to charge either and it only goes up to power 12 or wow let me tell you what I try I use the fake skin for the first time and it did awesome adjusting everything that the length of the needles easy nice it keeps in the cartridges nice and tight thank you javelin. the only other thing I would say about this I wish it had another color to it maybe silver a dark bronze or something nice or a deep blood red. Ok update a year later. So I got this almost a year ago next month. I have 4 other machines and this is the cheapest and best machine by far. Needless to say I love it. But the problem is with the battery pack. It will charge in the on or off position. When you unplug it it still shows it's charging. When its on it shows everything no problem. But it won't turn the machine on itself. As in the motor. I've only used this about a dozen or so times for an hour or two at a time. I'm pretty sure that it shouldn't be acting like that. Then when you shut it completely down it still looks like it's charging. Still a great machine. Other than the battery. I never give five stars there's always room for improvement.

So versatile you can use it anywhere the battery in it stays charged for a considerable time you can use it in your car you can use it in your backyard it's it's just an amazing machine you can set it the depth that you want and everything so far has come out wonderfully.

The equipment and the needles that they send with this are just fine but beware the ink that they sent with it is not for human use it is for practice only you will have to purchase ink if you desire to do any tattooing make sure and read the fine print which is written very small on these little bitty bottles that they sent you with no instructions by the way not very good for the beginners

This machine is not eligible for return! That’s a load of BS as far as I’m concerned! Do not buy this machine because it sucks! You can’t be working on a client and have the needle popping out! I’d give this no star!
